It is a nice place for people to sit.
This is also a lovely place to take photographs. This is an extremely pretty place and it is usually crowded with people who want to sit and observe others as they walk past this structure.

Ornately decorated market cross kept in excellent condition, in a prime location in the centre of Chichester. The cross dates back to 1501 and is well worth a look if you're visiting the nearby cathedral.
Cruce de caminos muy bonito, todo peatonal. Con buena oferta de restaurantes. Con la catedral muy cerca.
Lovely place to visit, The cross and the Cathedral are stunning, such a pretty place with many independent shops, also they had a farmer’s market on while we visited.
A méditer...
The old crossing in Chichester, nice point in the centre of town. The 15th-century market cross (clock and belfry added in 1724). It was built as a covered space where goods could be sold and as a meeting place. It is still serving the latter purpose today.
Lovely place to visit. Pedestrianised town centre. Lots of traditional and ethnic restaurants. Lots of parking around the city.
Nice walk round the city walls. Cathedral well worth a visit, dominates the town. Museums and theatres aplenty. Town is thriving culturally due to university and theatrical school. Art galleries and placed of historic interest abound. Old canal to explore with plenty of wild life and nice museum type cafe run nu volunteers. Not far from the sea and ancient harbours to explore. Centre for Alfred and the Anglo Saxons. Nature reserves and the whole of the South Downs at your fingertips.
Nice to see when in chi , next to sit in or waiting for a bus .
