Motel was clean and quiet in great location. Reason for the poor rating is that when we called to reserve a room with two double beds and asked the price, we were told $149. When we got there, we were told $169 because we had four people. The owner told us that the price we were given was for two people and when we explained that no one had asked how many people (just what kind of room), he got rude and said "do you want to stay here or not?" (knowing everything else in town was full). He made zero attempt to sympathize or remedy the situation, just said he can't control what his employees say on the phone.

I've stayed a few times in the past year. 4-5 tines. Never had an issue. Easy check in/out. Clean rooms. Heat worked.
I stayed this past Saturday. Woke up Sunday morning to find bed bugs in my room.
I've dealt with BB at a camp I used to run so I know all of the details about Bed bugs.
I caught 2and brought them to the desk. The only staff present didn't seem to speak good English so I left the samples with a note. I also called from the road after I took care to bag my belongings until I could get them into a dryer.
Called back and spoke to a staff person. They didn't seem at all surprised by the fact that they had bed bugs. They did apologize but no offer to rectify the situation or let me know that they were going to fix it.
I won't be staying again.
Room was very clean. Service was okay, breakfast was minimal - just some bagels, muffins, cereal and coffee. The apples were soft and felt rotten. The best thing going for this place is that the room was very clean and comfortable.
I stayed two nights here in December after some snow accumulations. I was greeted by a layer of snow on the driveway and at the parking lot. During my whole stay, the inn didn’t plow the driveway at all, which was quite unfriendly for drivers. The edges of the driveway were obscured. As a result, my friend drove into the ditch. The hotel manager did help us with this trouble though.
The desk attendant was very helpful. We asked for pillows late when we arrived and they gave us multiple pillows and blankets. Very positive experience.
Had a handicap room so not sure what the other rooms were like but as far as the one we had...the room was really clean. We were right by the lobby but it was nice and quiet. Friendly staff as well. Would def stay again. Reasonable prices as well.
We stayed here while visiting Cadillac to snowmobile. We arrived at 11, we asked and hoped we could check in early ( check in is at 3) because nobody was there, they informed us they were to cheap to hire housekeepers, and had to do all the cleaning themselves therefor we couldn’t check in early. This made gearing up for riding very difficult in our vehicle. The following morning, we ran out for some coffees, and when we arrived back at 10:16, they had already went into our room and started cleaning, even though checkout was at 11. Terrible experience from the owner Mr. Patel. And the decor/color choices are nauseating.. red and green walls, gold comforter, baby blue bathroom, looks very…..middle eastern. definitely will be staying elsewhere. Would give 0 stars if possible
CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! Beds were firm, pillows thin, but sheets were smooth and clean. Bathroom was very clean even in corners and no musty smell at all. Quiet, even though it’s on a main road. Height of tourist season, but front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful. Close to Fast food restaurants and sit down restaurants. Great coffee shop across the street. Close to the State Park and beaches. Best price around too. Would definitely stay again
