The entire time I was getting my nails done, the tech was complaining about “black people”. I let her go on her rant, then informed her at the end, my son is mixed. It hurt my heart to know people are so hateful. It was an unpleasant experience. I don’t ever want to give my hard earned money to people like that. Not to mention- she cut my finger.
I’ve been going to Avis Nails for many years and I love it. Every time I try to venture off to a different salon, I regret it. I get my nails done very often and this salon has been my favorite. It’s in a good location in the mall - there’s a hair salon right across the hall, a Sbarro right next door, and a massage parlor next to that. It’s a hit or miss here depending on the tech you get so make it easy on yourself by making an appointment and ✨ask for Annie✨
Fu, the manager, is a peach. The more often you go, the more familiar and friendly everyone will become with you and over time, they get to know what you like and don’t like. They will do a good job if you’re clear about how you want your nails to look. Ask for a rewards card as well ???? All the manicure pictures shown are dip powder and the pedicures are either regular or no-chip. I personally think they last the same amount of time. Give Avis Nails a try ????!
I take my daughter to get her nails done. They are just wonderful. They listen to what she asks for and they are so very kind. The shop is also so clean and well kept. Staff is welcoming and friendly. The quality of their work is amazing too. My daughter and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
My sister and I have been going there for a long time we always refer Jeremy because he’s amazing. However, the owner does not appreciate him even though he brings 90% of the business. the customer service that she provides is absolutely horrible. I always make appointments before going because Jeremy gets booked fast. There were several times where I was a few minutes late because life happens and Tina got upset saying that I was late. Yet, there have been so many times where I have been on time and she had made me wait. Just last time I waited for over 1 hour! I come from far because that’s just how much I love Jeremy. I even got out of work early so that I can be on time and she said Jeremy took a last minute appointment when in reality she’s the only one that pickups the phone calls and manages the schedule everyone’s schedules for appointments.
She did not take any responsibility whatsoever. Not one apology. She does not know how to treat loyal clients.
My sister and I will stop coming to this nail salon.
The lady who did my manicure...IVY, she is the best manicurist around and has excellent service skills.....I would definitely recommend her for your next manicure or pedicure
This place is horrible and deserves to be closed. They are reusing the sandals as well as toes dividers they place on your feet. (God only knows what else) My mother and I went for a pedicure and before I even got off the chair they took them off and threw them back in the drawer they pulled them out from. Aside from that , they were very pushy into buying scented scrubs. My biggest concern is the fact that they are REUSING their items for customers. I’m diabetic and not only can I catch an infection from their Unsanitized items or even a fungus from another customer. Will never go here again and will try to get them inspected. I usually don’t complain or post reviews but left so disgusted by this place and hopefully this review can save someone from an infection or worst
This was the first time I went to this salon. I chose this place because I thought since this was in a mall they will be good. But I was totally wrong. The people in this salon were so unprofessional. They always talk their language, they don’t ask their customers about what they want. They do things in a way they like. Horrible place to go. I would never go back there. We might not need any appointments to get in, but this place isn’t worth it. Seriously. When they did my pedicure, they didn’t even ask me how short or long I want to keep my toenails or what shape I want and so on. When they did my manicure, they were rushing and didn’t fill it completely. The tall guy there is the worst. I saw an another staff singing songs in their language while doing manicure for a customer. We and that customer were looking each other, and smiling at her. So unprofessional. Please try not to go there.
They have terrible customer service and very rude. No reason to mistreat my mom they way they did. My mom is kind, shy and quiet. They refused to let her decide on her own color etc. The male tech ignored every question and refuse to respond, but when others spoke to him, he responded. Yes he speaks English. When we ask for the plastic and oil so she can put her shoes on without damaging the pedicure they told me to do it myself. I don’t like putting mean things online, but this wasn’t the first time. I thought they were just having a bad day prior. The way they treated my mom, I feel like I should share the experience. When I tried to tell them they don’t need to be this mean us, they all started yelling at me all at once.
The only person who has ever been kind to us there is Carole. Everyone else, mean and rude. This is my last time taking my mom there.
