A wonderful experience from the moment I entered this fine establishment. Immediately greeted by friendly staff who are true experts in their culinary field, not only greeting with a warm smile and a making me feel as though I was a guest in their home, home but also offering me detailed advice on the menu choices. The food is simply wonderful, cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. The flavours are beyond what would normally be expected from a typical cafe. Will I return? You can count on it

I arrived at the cafe on a rainy May afternoon in Aldershot. The shop was empty apart from two gentlemen having a chat in the corner.

As soon as I entered the shop, the men finished their conversation and asked what I'd like to order.

I checked the menu online before coming, and decided on the club sandwich. Unfortunately when I got to the cafe, I was told it was out of stock ????. They offered me a few different alternatives and eventually I decided on the BLT at a cost of £4.00.

The sandwich arrived quickly within about 5-7 minutes of ordering, inside a white paper bag.

The sandwich was very delicious. Served on thick slices of white bread. As I was waiting, I could hear and smell the bacon sizzling. It's nice to know it was freshly cooked and hot.

I personally would have preferred slightly less mayonnaise. But the sandwich was still very tasty nonetheless.

The shop looked like it had some seating area and toilet, but these were closed to the public. Which is understandable considering current COVID-19 restrictions.

I must also mention that this cafe accepts cash or credit cards, no problem ????

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Overall I can give Astalet cafe 5 stars. I will definitely be visiting again when passing the area, and look forward to trying other items on the menu.

Meat quality was poor (enough for me to not eat it and I'm not usually fussy about bacon and sausages!) but other than that, it was ok. Coffee was good. Covid safety measures were also very poor... I won't be returning in a hurry

Good food, great staff, friendly community atmosphere.

My favourite local cafe and never disappointed with their fry up’s. They also have a great choice of other food and drinks whether you’re there for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

A absolutely fantastic place for a bite to eat, the food is perfectly cooked all fresh and delicious. Very fast service as well.

Little gem. Sumptuous customised breakfast with healthy portion sizes, great Italian coffee. Fab service and courteous staff. Toilets available. Highly recommended.
