A visit to the Albert never disappoints. I have been here over 2 hours solo and have not felt rushed. Was greeted by the lovely Stuart with a warm, genuine smile. I had rang earlier in the week about the menu and had many questions but Stuart was very patient and professional. I promised I would call in.
I was cheeky enough to ask if I could have a main dish as a starter (Crispy Lamb). Again, not an issue. Had the fishcakes for the main that came with home made chips and salad. I was defeated by the final bite. Absolutely fantastic and piping hot.
Credit to every member of staff working here but especially to Stuart tonight.
Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. I can't wait to come back. If I lived closer, I would be here all the time!
4/16/22 Came here based on the reviews. It’s what we expected for our first UK pub, but I review them 4 stars for the wait time on food, everything was delicious and they did seem very busy with people sitting at every table. I had the Fish & Chips with peas and my husband had the British Steak & Ale Pie, both great choices and we would definitely return again.
I love this bar/ restaurant. And I often eat there with friends or alone. Why? The staff are friendly, efficient, & knowledgeable about the menu & drinks available. The menu is exciting compared with the usual chips with everything dining experience on the average High Street.
I had a late lunch l, so it was pleasantly quite, but enough diners we’re still eating. The delicious & beautifully presented prawn cocktail & jacket potato is a complete meal. It comes with coleslaw & a side salad. When I asked for olive oil it wasn’t a problem & speedily delivered to my table. (Unlike a similar request at Holiday Inn Manchester : where I was told chef didn’t have any). The building itself is attractive & located behind the main shopping street. It was a cold blustery day but the interior was warm and inviting. Weekends & evenings are popular, booking is essential.
What a lovely evening and great food at The Albert. Clean and friendly staff, food tasted awesome and was great value. A lovely relaxed atmosphere, we will be back. Thank you in helping us enjoy our stay in Llandudno ????????????
Very friendly staff, we called ahead and they squeezed us in a table shortly before they were due to close the kitchen. They had a great selection of local ales and beers and also plenty of ciders. Brilliant atmosphere and the food was amazing!! We all left with smiles and full bellies

The food we ordered was presented very well, hot and delicious. Generous portions and super flavour combinations.
Well Worth a visit , booking during seasonally busy periods is advisable .
Friendly and good service. Lots of choice on the food and drinks menu, which was all reasonably priced. Mixture of draught and bottled drinks. Outdoor seating available but we sat inside and it was warm cosy and clean. Food was fine - ordered a burger and chips with halloumi, it was fine for what it was and a good sized portion but nothing to shout about.
