Best PlaceJuice Reviews

I’m a little hesitant to post photos of my feet and hands lol but this was probably one of the worst gel manicures and gel pedicures I’ve ever received. I paid $62 for the gel pedicure then was charged $14 on top of that $62 plus an additional $2 for using a card. I wanted to leave a tip but they don’t accept tips on cards. When I was there a few days prior for a gel manicure the tech I had let me Venmo her a tip but this time I was told nobody had Venmo. They asked me to walk across the way to the bar in the plaza which was visibly closed. I tried explaining that to them but they insisted it was open so I walked over anyways and sure enough they were closed. When I came back to let them know they asked me to drive down the road or to the gas station across the street for an atm. I really didn’t want to but I just don’t like confrontation so I drove to CVS and I left a $15 tip. So $93 total for a barely mediocre gel pedicure. I don’t remember how much the gel manicure was but both are chipping away and lifting and it hasn’t even been a week. Also the white on my toes looks beige and dirty. The photos speak for themselves. The women were all very friendly except one person who was pretty rude to me when I came in for the pedicure. All and all I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.
I’ve been here a few times before and never had any trouble. At my most revent appointment with a friend and we both got a full set. The tech doing our set, Gloria seemed to be in a rush. She cut and burned me with the file several times. We each had nails that were put on very crooked. She told me “no” several times when requesting my nails to be a certain way. She assured me she does this every day and she’d do what was best regardless of what I asked for. In the end, I strongly disliked how they came out, they actually hurt and my hands were all cut up. I asked her to remove them in which she was extremely rude and argued with me. I told her I would pay for her to remove them but since I was unhappy with the result given she didn’t do them as I asked and I wasn’t leaving with them I was not paying for the nails. She fought with me about it for an extended period of time until she offered to get the owner. I explained to the owner what happened. Thankfully she was understanding and kind enough to have Gloria remove the nails. I still left a very generous tip which I highly regret given her attitude. When I went out to my car to leave she was standing outside talking to someone about the situation. She was beyond unprofessional. I’m also very unhappy that she left acrylic on my nails which I now am ruining my nails trying to remove it on my own. I hope they strongly reconsider her employment here given the way she talks to and treats customers.
This was my first time here. I walked in with a friend and they greeted me nicely. When taken to the pedicure spot, I had to wait for about 15 mins for Lisa to come out. Which I had no problem with. My friends pedicure started and here I was still patiently waiting now about 25 mins after with cold water at this point. When she comes I requested for my heels to feel smooth. When I told her she had a bit of an attitude on her. Then she quickly rushed to do the pedicure. She started way after my friends session and finished before her too. I was in shock. My feet seen no difference. The old nail polish was still on. She never got it off completely. Then as she massaged me she literally just put the lotion on and put a warm towel on for a few seconds. I had asked for a natural nail polish she told me to get up from the chair and find the one I want! The employee doing my friends feet had an embarrassed look on her because she knew Lisa was rude. So she kindly stopped what she was doing and got me a few different nail polish shades. As if that wasn’t enough, I had asked her why she was rushing “ she said she was hungry ???? And how she’s been doing nails for many years she knows what she’s doing”. She walked away speaking her language and left me there. The other lady had to go back trim my nails and quickly smooth the spots she missed (which were still missed) and paint my nails . I just wanted to go and unwind after a stressful week and that’s the least thing I did. So unprofessional and rude! And still I got charged 50$. I will never return here!!!! Ever! Lisa needs some people skills and learn how to have better customer service.
Staff were helpful and my results were okay. The designs could’ve been better. The strawberry was meant to be smaller. 7/10.
On the door it says they open at 10. It was about 10:10 am and still the doors were locked. My sister and I stayed in the plaza to grab a bite to eat and by the time we came back at 10:25 there were about 3 people ahead of us. I was not happy about having to wait so long especially since they did not open on time. Kim convinced us to stay. She is so nice funny friendly and really makes her clients feel comfortable. I wanted white coffin style nails and I was satisfied with how they came out. My pedicure was well done and my feet were so soft. I will say that after just 1 week some of the paint on my toes were chipping. I hope when I come back Kim will be available again!
Edit: April 2019
I’ve returned several times. Kim always takes great care of me. Always attentive with great conversation. I really enjoy her company and service. She cares about her customers.
I gave 2 stars based on my TERRIBLE first experience with Amy, but Kim deserves 5 stars for bringing my nails back to life!
The day of my appointment, Amy was extremely rude. She was rushing through the entire process and ruined my entire nail bed. The first red flag was me having to tell her that one of the nails was not glued to my nail bed all the way. After shaping the acrylic, I did tell her (in a respectful manner) that I was not happy with the ballerina shape as requested- it was lopsided and noticeably uneven. She went on to tell me that she won't be finishing my manicure and that I'll have to wait for another nail tech because I "was to picky and complaining". She was so rude that the customer next to me left in disbelief.
All in all I rescheduled with Kim and she did a great job. But unfortunately, I wont be going back :(
One of the worst places I could have gone. Everytime I got my toes done and the gel on my pinky toe always came off they also cut the corners of my toes and made them look like weird shapes I had to get Kim to fix my nails multiple times because the girl at the last station always messed them up she definitely shouldn’t be certified in nails or toes she needs to go back to a nail school.
Gloria is amazing I always ask for her. The owner Kim is amazing as well. They are a little over priced but I’m use to paying it now. When I first went I didn’t know I was being charged to take the polish off my toes but once I knew what was going on I started taking my own polish off. But other then that I love this salon this is my to go place I don’t allow anybody else to do my pedicures
