Nice little traditional Cafe in the heart of Islington. Very reasonably priced too, expected to pay a lot more in Central. Not many proper London cafes around now, recommended. Tenner got me a meal and a cup of tea, very reasonable for good food.

Freshly made breakfast served daily. They also serve homemade lunch meals. Staff are super friendly and always welcoming

Was a lovely cafe , friendly staff and they even had my favourite dish lamacun was really nice ???? , my friends dishes looked lovely too .

Cheap and cheerful place to load up on bland carbs. Friendly staff once they know you.

This place is special. It's a family run business. Dad has been doing his thing for decades. The kids help out. They tell him he's got to embrace Deliveroo, and they also say they don't get paid!

All I know is that the service is always good, the food is honest, the portions generous, the tea is as it should be.

I'd just as happily have egg and chips here as I would a chateaubriand at Frederick's, because it's equally good at what it does.

Excellent Family run cafe. Yes it’s a cafe so expect good quality cafe food. Full English with tea and toast for under £6. You can’t go wrong.
