My new nail salon. I had been going to Zen Nails off Blanding for over 6 yrs. The service has gradually declined over the years. I'm a faithful, every 2 week client. Was referred to 89 Nails Salon and gave it a blind try. Clean, prompt and professional. Best service since moving to Clay County! It's a hidden gem off Kingsley. I walked in on the Saturday before Mother's Day and got an immediate appointment. Btw, they're open on Sundays too! They respected my time and were warm and inviting. Lee was my technician and he out did himself! I've received countless compliments and my husband immediately noticed the quality of work. Lee removed my old acrylic and started from scratch. There were literally 100's of different colors and designs available. I'll be heading in next week for a deluxe spa pedicure. The process looked yummy. The ladies and men patrons looked happy and relaxed. I saw Emily's pedi work and it was flawless. If you're picky about cleanliness, sanitation, time management and quality work... This is what you've been looking for..
Came for acrylics for my daughter and last minute gel polish for myself. They were not only able to work me in, but were super nice about it. Nails turned out beautifully for both of us. No fuss, no frills kind of place but the work is professional and pretty....far too many places don't pride themselves in their work or simply don't care about the end result....this place does and it shows.
Take it from someone extremely picky, they are highly recommended!
Amazing place to get nails done! My mom and I came in from Orlando for vacation and thought to get our nails done while in the city. We called ahead to see if they had availability and the gentleman on the phone was very polite and confirmed we could come in for both mani and full set. When we came we were seated right away and asked if we wanted something to drink. The bathrooms are spotless/very clean (the entire place is very clean)!! My mom and I were treated with such friendliness and respect the whole time (I thought I needed a full set but the gentleman said we could just do a fill, anyone else would have tried to up sale me). We had awesome conversations and a bunch of laughs too (so fun!!). They are timely, talented and wonderful nail technicians!! We even got some great recommendations on what to do around the city since we are visiting. We 100% recommend 89 Nails Salon to anyone looking to relax and get an amazing mani or nails! We wish they were in Orlando!
Lee was very attentive and took his time (but wasn’t slow). He wanted to know why I was looking for a new nail salon and communicated steps on how he avoids the mistakes my old nail salon did. The dip powder was applied evenly and not lumpy or thick. I needed a cut down because I had some broken nails. He didn’t try to talk me into tips. We talked about our kids, the upcoming holidays, and his shop. He knows who his clients are and knew right away I was new. He made me feel welcomed. I definitely found my new nail salon.
I really like this place clean and very nice. They are nice and friendly they do good job at nails was nervous to get short nails always get them kinda long but I like them can't wait to next time where I will get a nail design my nail color is UV gel and also glows in the dark trust me when I say it does glow in the dark also I had a deluxe pedicure and was awesome left my feet so relax and my boyfriend had his 1st pedicure and he was so satisfied he said he will keep getting them. Thanks 89 Nails for making our 1st time experience awesome and u will see us soon again. They have plenty of parking and also have items for sell like the organic sugar scrub which I am going to get .
The employees were so nice and friendly! We stopped in Jacksonville just for the night and I needed my toenails painted badly. I showed up last minute as one employee was about to leave for the evening. He stayed to paint my nails and was the nicest man. I thanked him over and over for helping me out. Sweet people. Wonderful work.
WOW! 89 nails is truly amazing! They are very good with making sure you’re seen during your reserved appointment time. They did acrylic nails and a pedicure and everything came out perfect. Lee and his wife are truly wonderful people. The best atmosphere to be in; very relaxing music, comfortable chairs, and kind staff. A true hidden gem in Orange Park. If you don’t like overly crowded salons, this is for you! You’re treated like royalty every time you go.
We got there right after opening for a walk in on a Saturday. We were promptly seated but the tech who did my sisters nails had an appointment coming. I’m not sure why she wasn’t out with someone else as there were other nail techs without customers. She seemed rushed and didn’t listen to my sisters design request and just painted them a solid color. The guy who did mine was attentive and did a decent job! The acrylics were thick and bulky and my polish was streaky but it was a slightly sheer color. The price of a full set and a fill were the same which was a bit odd too. I’m not sure we’d return.
