My mother and I got our nails done today and the guy that did ours did a great job. I was trying different nail salons in the area and had a mess. Drove across town to another nail shop and the tech was always late. I’m pleased and this is my new nail shop. Thank you 4 star nails for a great experience.

I’m not sure how this business has so many good reviews. I was not impressed.

The location was run down. Polishes were stored in unfinished cabinets that looked like they were assembled from Home Depot wood scraps. The pedicure chairs were marked with peeling tape. The jets in my tub did not work. There was a printer paper sign on the wall about new massages. Not sure where those were done since there wasn’t even a private waxing room. There is no website listing the menu so you either have to ask for it when you arrive or have your total be a surprise at the end.

I had gone to another salon in La Plata and got a horrible gel manicure that I could not get off. The only good thing 4 Star Nails did was remove the old polish. Even then, filing the polish off my nails burned.

The finished product is something I could have done with my non dominant left hand. I got this mani/pedi YESTERDAY and my nails are already shot. Some of the nails are not filed at the top and catch on my clothes. One of my cuticles is cut from being pushed back dry. Even without the chips, the thumbs are super uneven and peeling. A nice waste of $55 dollars since, 24 hours later, I have to remove the polish. The pedicure was not bad but also not worth $25. I chose a light color and the tech didn’t use enough polish to cover the streaks.

I will not be returning to this money pit.

I’ve heard that the owner, Jennifer, (who may have been my tech) gets on here and accuses people of getting manicures elsewhere and then blaming them as if that’s logical. Yeah…I have the charge on my credit card.

Love this place! The price was reasonable, worth your money. It's so pretty and modern , clean and all the staff are friendly. They did an amazing jobs on my nails n specially my pedicure. My go-to nails salon now.

If I could give them more than a 5 star I would. The service was incredibly nice and the staff were so friendly and took care of you perfectly and professionally! I did a walk in with 3 other people and we left super satisfied! I recommend them to everyone! Ask for ivy (I think that is how you spell her name) she is a true artist!!

Probably the best experience I've ever had in a nail salon! Very nice, good people, attentive, careful, and made sure my nails were exactly how I wanted them. Especially appreciated that the guy doing my nails repeatedly asked to make sure he wasn't hurting me. Very professional, VERY pleased!!

I got dipped nails and for the first time ever, they weren't too thick. That detail alone made a loyal customer out of me! Love my nails!!! I'll definitely be back!

I keep coming here because I absolutely love the way my nails come out each and every time. I normally do a gel manicure and regular pedicure and they do such a great job. The pricing is also good. Definitely my go to spot!

I really enjoyed getting my shellac mani and regular pedi here! Everyone I encountered was very sweet, the salon clean and the technicians had such great attention to detail! There's really nothing I would have changed. It was a great experience and super happy with my nails! I will be back!
