I went in this afternoon around 3 PM for a gel manicure and these were the results. Super rushed service, and there was no one in there, so it’s not like they were busy. A year or two ago, this was my go-to nail salon. The last 5 or 6 times I’ve gone, my nails consistently come out like this. The cuticles are always a mess. The polish on the middle nail is already peeling up — I can tell the whole nail will lift within a day or two. I could have done a better job myself. $30 down the drain. Really disappointed. I think it’s time to give up on this place unfortunately.
they don’t know how to do acrylic refills. in the first minute of drilling polish off from acrylic w dip she was going so fast she nicked me, and broke skin. didn’t understand what i wanted, and had to leave. will not be coming back.
The inside was clean, organized, perfectly fine. There wasn't crazy music, as I've seen described in other reviews. A few things I wasn't thrilled about: WHO WAS IN THE BACK ROOM SMOKING THE WHOLE TIME I WAS THERE?!?!? What the hell? Yeah, nothing says relaxing spa like second hand smoke. Ugh!!!!
Also, I get it, you work on feet all day, but would some eye contact and/or basic level friendliness be out of order?
The pedicure was fine, but, damn, it was 13 minutes long, start to finish. $25 plus tip for 13 minutes and second hand smoke.
Came in 15 min early for my appointment, and they were ready to take me. Just wanted a simple quick pedicure, which I had asked for. Jenny did my nails and was amazing. She didn’t waste anytime, didn’t make me wait but still did all the good stuff. My heels are soft, dead skin gone, cuticles gone, nails are painted perfectly red, and I got a sugar scrub and hot stone.
Couldn’t be happier, will definitely be driving from Hanson, to come here and see Jenny again!
This place use to be my go to. I came here for years. However, I started to notice this place changing shortly but slowly. For example, even though I had an appointment I still had to wait quite awhile to get my nails done. They took walk ins before me on two occasions even though I had an appointment. I was rushed to pick a color and my nails were rushed. The last two times I went I was not completely happy with how my nails came out. Even after this I still was willing to give them a chance and figured I’d have someone else do my nails. This third time was it for me even though I had an appointment I was told to sit down outside so after 15 minutes I asked the lady in the front how long I had to wait. I told her I had an appointment and she gave me a nasty look and was rude. I just walked out and as I was walking out some one came to tell me they were ready for me but at that point I was done with this place. Just want to warn other people. This place isn’t what it use to be.
What's the point of making an appointment, if they are just going to take walkins before me, and have me just sitting there twittling my fingers. My boyfriend was done before they even started me. I walked out and will NEVER be back again
Doesn't matter who you get they are all perfectionist! I moved out of the area and tried several other places before deciding its worth the trip to have my nails done the right way. They do such a great job, noone compares! I am very picky and I have never found a flaw when I go to them. The equipment is clean, the employees are friendly. Customer for life.
Unbelievable nail salon!! If I could give a 1000 stars I would! Toni the owner is outstanding. Unlike all other nail salons, what you want is what goes here at no extra charge!
For example, if you get a refill, but want your cuticles done, at any other nail salon, you would have to pay for this extra service. Not at Zen Nails. They only charge you for the refill, but do your cuticles as well to YOUR liking! They are completely service oriented, and everything in this place is about YOU. What YOU want, how YOU feel, the way YOU want it done. They are not done until you are completely satisfied. If you are unhappy here, all you have to do is TALK! They will get it right immediately to your liking! If you keep it to yourself, most likely you will have a bad experience, not only here, but anywhere you might go. These people do not read crystal balls, they do nails to perfection!!! Just became their customer about a month ago, and most likely they'll have me as a customer until they close their shop!
