Arrived for food for just myself, was greeted and told I can sit anywhere !
There were only 3 other tables booked.
Soft drink ordered quickly and food which arrived within 10 minutes.
Order, chips, plain rice, and Zaffron Special (very hot Curry)
Meat was quite fatty on the lamb and some couldn’t be eaten for this reason.
Toilets very small but otherwise a nice place and nice food.
If you like Indian food, you HAVE to go here. Not only was the food delicious, the service was amazing. I can't recommend it enough
The food is absolutely stunning, great flavours and really good size portions. Staff are very friendly and helpful, prices are very reasonable, well worth a visit.
Staff were so helpful, my Daughter is Vegan and they were well advised on what she could have off the menu. Service was fast, and food freshly cooked. Would definitely go back.
2 and a half hours of appaling service and tasteless food...2 hours for main course to arrive in which time other customers arrived, ordered, ate and left. Plenty of shouting from customers waiting and missed orders, to loud shouting from the kitchen. When main finally arrived it was cold, looked rushed in presentation and bland, naan bread wasn't even fully cooked. Never again !!
Absolutely horrendous avoid at all cost!! 8 of us went waited over an hour for our meal. Food came cold some didn't have their meal some was indedible and smelling rancid so had 2b returned never experienced anything like it!! They were overbooked and under staffed and they were more interested in putting food in bags 2b delivered than the sitting customers!!! I don't like complaining as know how hard they work but sometimes uve got to as the standard just wasn't there so get ur priorities right zafran and get back to being the quality restaurant you used to be...
Absolutely fabulous food - always in my experience. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
I didn't feel I was that welcome, I was only customer in restaurant, great price I had chicken madras and piluo rice I found chicken was quite tough,the sauce was acceptable the rice was nice,as I live in car by the time I found somewhere to eat my takeaway it lost most of it's heat as curry and rice was served in plastic containers, would have been warmer if served in foil trays
