If you like a traditional haircut super fast with minimal small talk, this is the place. Also, she uses a vacuum system that keeps you fairly free of stray hair. That's nice. And if there are a couple people in front of you, dont worry, it won't take long. I've seen her do 3 haircuts in 15 minutes...more than once. I highly recommend.
Update : So happy this talented lady is cutting hair again...same great experience as always...
12-19-21 2nd update - just got my hair cut correct at Young's. My favorite barber by far. I have been going here for probably 10 years and today's cut was just as good as the first one.

Great location and Ms Young was very efficient and pleasant. The cut she gave was excellent and the price for quality is in favor of the customers for sure. Going back for sure!
It was a nice place. As other reviewers said, the lady (owner) used a clipper attached to a vacuum. Some folks complained that the vacuum was loud but I did not feel that at all. Very good and affordable service especially for military style haircut. It took her <10min to get the job done.
I can't get a better haircut anywhere else, she's fantastic, quick and clean with the vacuum trimmers with no appointment needed. Now that I live on the south side, I wish she did too but the trip is worth it.

Coming in I looked online and saw the consistent good reviews so I felt fairly comfortable with letting this place cut my hair. I should have known not to go once I called in to ask for prices and I could hardly understand the woman. So I proceeded to go to get my hair cut and sat down and told her exactly what I wanted. I made sure to be very clear and reiterate exactly what I wanted in my haircut. I told her to cut one inch off the top with scissors (my hair being about 7 inches before the haircut). So after the haircut I wanted my top to be around 7-6.5 inches long. What does she do? She puts on an 8 guard and cuts two strokes in my hair so that it is an inch long! I was fairly heated because she had just ruined a lot of hard work and time of growing my hair out so I left after that and went to get my haircut finished and fixed elsewhere. Only go here if you wish to get the exact opposite of what you ask for. The chairs do not even face a mirror!
This woman at Young's cut all my hair off around the sides and back in five minutes. After I told her she cut off too much hair. She demanded I leave her shop and never return. She was very disrespectful and I am not certain I was not welcomed there in the first place. It was a horrible experience and I am walking around with a bowl cut for the next month. I am a sixty year old woman.
Did not follow my natural beard line instead went yas deeper and was asymmetrical
