I went there to remove my acrylics. The service started abrasive and rough but the mail tech my using normal mail clips to remove half the tips of the acrylic nails. Then after removing half of all the tips of the acrylic he tried removing the acrylics that weren’t lifting by hand. Basically tearing up my natural nail more than what they were with a bonded product with force. I told him this isn’t what I wanted as far as removal because it would ruin the integrity of my nails and told him I preferred a soak instead. He seemed angry and frustrated because I told him I didn’t prefer the most simple approach for him to get me in and out of the salon. I soaked for an hour which is normal except for the fact they used a candle warmer under the acrylic. I was suppose to get a gel top coat before meeting my boyfriends parents for the holiday but at that point I just wanted nothing more but to leave. Towards the end of the service I asked for his preference on shape due to the fact they damaged most of the length of my natural nail. He ignored me and continued. Rushed through my clear coat avoiding the edges. I know the service I requested would look a little rough considering the removal but the polish work and the aftermath of using heated acetone has a left quite a negative impression. My hands are dry, sensitive, and brittle. The nails itself still have reminants of my previous style. I can’t say I would recommend coming here. I’m highly disappointed with the service I received. I've been there multiple times and each time they do my acrylic nails perfect. Ive even given them some difficult designs and they "nail" it lol. They are truly talented, thank you!!
I normally go in and get the one guy who works there. He is really good! However he was busy helping someone else today, so I let one of the girls work on my pedicure. I did not like her at all. First the water she ran was not hot, had to ask her to warm it up. Then she about scolded my feet because she ran it too hot. She massages my legs for way too long and never my feet. She took way way too long to do my pedicure. She even put the wax on my feet and disappeared for a very long time in the back. I thought the volcano pedicure also included hot stones, but she never used them. I was charged way more than what the guy charges me, which is unexceptionable, not my first visit lady! I was not happy!
definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area. the wait is usually not long and the staff is always very friendly and do an amazing job :)
Thus place is DISGUSTING! The floor is covered in hair and gunk and just really gross, the chairs had stuff all over them, it felt so gross. I asked for a pedi and just a top coat and they refused because "that wont look good", have to take everything off and then can put something on it which was no loss to me. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.
XTC nails is my go to place for a relaxing and reasonably priced pampering. The salon is clean and updated, with massaging pedicure chairs and a wonder staff. Every single technician I have gotten here listens to what you want, and is very talented and polite. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of five, is when they are super busy they will seat you for a pedicure and let the water get cold ???? and they only have one standard pedicure where most places have upgrades available. The pedicure is good. Just small things to note! I would rather sit in the waiting area until they are ready to serve me, than soak in water too long that loses temperature. Nothing that stops me from coming back time after time. Their waxing lady is wonderful as well! Overall a great experience!!
This place is great. Gets busy so book before you go to ensure you get in. The male did my pedicure and it was amazing. I went for the Volcano Spa Pedicure with Gel Polish!!! Ahhhmazing! I'm gonna have to update this once I'm done though....I'm midway thru my pedicure...
Been going here for 3 years. The heavy set lady asked what I was getting done told her fill/repair. Obviously see my fingers as they were laying hard cover book of color on the table to the right when you walk-in. She then asks “why you holding the book” I said cause I was looking at the colors. I’ve giving Nina’s staff too many chances. The guy and the lady that did my feet on 7-15-22, shut must be helping out since Nina on vacay terrible. Nina and her 2 sisters have been the only reason why I have kept going.
Customer service definitely lacking today. And quick to ask if I wanna wait for her. Probably because Nina is out. My rating would have been better. Time to change.
