Such a great nail salon! This was my first visit with Winstar and it went way better than I expected. If you are having difficulty finding a new nail salon, stop looking, this is the place for you. Everyone is very nice and polite and they will make sure that you like what they put on your nails. My nails we're done by Mary and she did a fantastic job. For reference, I did an ombre dip. Mary suggested the flowers and they are so cute! Definitely coming back. Thanks Mary!

Edit to Add: Michael reached out and Invited me to come back to have my nails done how I originally wanted them. Mary did a fantastic job and everyone was very nice and accommodating. I will certainly be back and I really appreciate the offer and great customer service. I am thrilled with my nails now. When wanting something specific, be sure to specify when you make your appointment.

Original Review ***I unfortunately left feeling disappointed with my experience here.

I’ll start by saying that the salon is very nice and clean. My nail tech was quick and gentle and the price was very reasonable.

When I went in I had asked the lady doing my nails if she could do a specific design. She said she could but it wouldn’t be exactly like the picture. I never expect for anything to be exact so I was okay with that. However when it came time to do the design that was 3-D in the picture, she told me she could only paint it on. I was disappointed so I just told her never mind and that maybe i would find something else. She seemed very uninterested and very much like she was rushing so I didn’t take any more of her time by trying to decide on something different and left with plain nails. My nails still had a lot of leftover acrylic and gunk under and around them. She only did one coat of top coat and cured it once. After I left I realized that one of my thumbs has a very noticeable finger print in it from them not curing completely.

Overall I was not thrilled with my experience. I felt like I was an inconvenience. And I wish she would’ve explained in the beginning that she couldn’t do a 3-D design. The reason I came to this salon in the first place was because of a review with a photo that showed the exact thing I wanted and it looked phenomenal.

I spent half an hour researching nail salons nearby, and all of them had 2 - 3 stars. I found this place and it had 4.9 stars, so I thought I’d give it a try. Best. Nail. Place. Ever. I’ve been to a lot of nail salons, and this one is the best I’ve ever been to. I will never go to any other place again. I was iffy about it, even after reading the good reviews, but omg! This place has such friendly staff, so many varieties of colors and details, and they spent so much time making sure your nails are PERFECT! I LOVE THIS PLACE! And there was this cute dog running around! I highly recommend this place :)

Winstar has continuously blown me away with their excellent quality and service. I like to get fun nail designs and they do an amazing job making sure it’s exactly what I want. This specific time I went in with a rather challenging design, they made it even better than I could have imagined. The best Halloween nails I have ever seen! This is the place to go for nails in Omaha.

I have been going to Winstar since May and they have always done an outstanding job, I have never been able to go anywhere else! Which is why I am really upset to be writing this review. Today when I went in I had a nail tech I had never seen at the salon before, she was friendly. I showed her the picture of my design in which she just glanced at it while the others continued to compare during the whole service to make sure it is exactly how you want. She did not pick the correct colors and when I asked her about it, she said the color she picked will look better. And when she did not follow the design and I asked her about it she said that she knew what was best for me and that they look better the way she was doing it, which really irritated me. She charged me $65 for dip on my natural nail and the design. I have gotten some very crazy and intricate designs and even when I had acrylics they have never costed this much before, I would not have argued if I liked how they turned out. She also took 2 hours for what I think to be a fairly simple design. I also am not sure what her name was because she did not have a name tag):

I will also say that one bad experience should not represent a company as great as Winstar. They have always done so great with me and are always so I am hoping to get this sorted out so I can take this review down. But Mary, Lauren, Michael, and one of the younger gals have done my nails/pedicures and absolutely amazing every time. Overall great place, just one time can make me not want to go back- lost trust.

I tried this place for the very first time after being upset with my nails at a another salon. The manager, Michael, was so friendly over the phone and got me in asap despite them being busy. Mary (and a another girl wasn't sure of her name) did such an amazing job fixing my nails! Definitely will be coming back regularly (: I'll attach a before and after

Walked in on a wim. Have had my nails done elsewhere because this salon is about 20 miles away from my home but had some time to kill in the area. Seen it had great reviews and thought why not.

Got me right in. The nail tech did a great job and explained what and why she was doing it a little different than the norm other than just taping you on the hand and expecting you to know what that means as I have gotten that service before at other salons and find it a little hard to read minds. Relaxing and polite. And rates are decent.
