It's a nice park with 2 pavilions and many picnic tables. It has a small playground area for kids. You can cook food. Bring your own charcoal and foil if you don't want your food to get through the grates. Basketball court and baseball field and a huge grass area for whatever.

This was such a good place to have a baby shower. I am going to be a Great Nana! I will Recommend this park ti my family and friends!!

We had my daughter's dream unicorn birthday party here. I actually wasn't sure of what to expect as I'd booked basically sight unseen. With the exception of online photos.

Well it was wonderful. What a great little hidden park in southern Manatee county.

So much great green fields to run around in. Great for playing soccer, football, tag. The playground was really nice as well. The pavilion is well taken care of and close the the bathrooms which is important to me with lots of small children.

It was very sandy and dusty but it was ok. It seems to be a popular spot as several families were there with grills

This is a beautiful quiet park that is huge! For me, there is a lot of sentiment built up here. This is where I met my fiance many years ago and where he also proposed to me. Whitfield park will always have a special place in my heart. I'm so happy to see it being maintained.

Didn't even know that this park existed, saw the sign every day for 7 years but never went there until today. Nice hideout, great place to take a date for a picnic away from the main road and traffic noise. Even a quiet place to be alone.

Horrible experience.. Went out one Saturday morning to stretch with my mom.. County worker shows up out of nowhere. an decide to use a blower while we where doing some ground stretches. Out of two pavilion guess which one he starts with first. Then had the nerves to tell us as we where leaving. No need to go to the other one he was headed there next.. Cold..

Very nice park. Great playground. The hills are fun to run up and down with the kids. Just watch out for fire ants. Lots of birds.
