I love VIP nails. Every time I go in there I always get seated right at my appointment time and Jimmy just works on me. He is very good at doing my nails, and gets them done in less than an hour. He always gives me just what I want! I definitely recommend going to VIP, and especially requesting Jimmy. It is a clean, nice, place that deserves great recognition.
I’ve been going to VIP Nails for a little over a year! I get gel nails because it seems to be the best for my nails. Jimmie is that guy!!! I’ve never broken a nail…and the never lift! I typically go every three weeks to get a fill. I tell him the color I want and he never disappoints with the design! If you decide to go to VIP get Jimmie! But make sure you make an appointment!
Amazing service! Called in the morning for two full gel sets including an acrylic removal & they fit us in that afternoon. Such a soothing and clean place with very friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Called VIP nails at 2pm they got me me in for a mani/pedi by 4pm! Very clean salon, spa music to relax you and friendly nail techs. I had Lee’s husband, Jimmy and he was amazing. Lee did my brows which are perfect as well. Can’t recommend them enough!

Just moved to the area and a lot of people recommended Jimmy. I went to him twice, both times for refills with gel paint. Nothing fancy, no designs or crazy shaped nails. First time I went to him my nails were mediocre at best but I figured maybe he was having an off day and I would give him another chance. I went back to Jimmy today and this time my nails are 100 times worse. To start off he cut my nails shorter which I didn’t want without even asking me. Then he put way too many top coats on to the point where the polish has all kinds of bubbles in it, the nails are uneven, misshaped and are way too thick. They were busy today so after I left I immediately called and asked if I could come back in tomorrow or another day when they’re not as busy so he can fix them. He said in order for him to fix them I had to come back in today but I can’t because I have to work. So now I’m going to have to go somewhere else to get them fixed and pay double for his mistakes that he will only fix on his time. I don’t know about the other people that work there so I’m not saying the whole salon is bad, just my own personal experiences with Jimmy were horrible. I will NEVER go back.
I have been to this salon twice. The first time the owner and her husband were arguing with a customer. Several people waiting got up and left. The second time I went, I had an appointment at 1 o'clock and arrived 10 minutes early. There were 3 other people waiting and all 4 of the operators were busy. I waited until 1.15 and then asked the owner when I could be seen. I was told the stock answer of 5 more minutes. 15 minutes later I got up to leave. The owner told me that I needed to allow more time for my appt. I told her I had made time but I could not wait any longer. I ask the other people waiting and they all had 1 o'clock appointments. 3 of the 4 people in the chair were walk-ins. I walked out. Never again. I have been going to the same salon north of Baltimore for 15 years. ALWAYS on time always friendly and professional. I drive back to Baltimore to get my nails done as I have not found a decent salon here.
