Amazing food staff couldn't do any more for me and my daughter.
I would recommend highly.
Always been a great pub for food we have stayed in our motorhome many times in the past and have always had a great meal however on our last visit we could only get a drink here because the landlord who I believe used to be the chef has been quite poorly but we have been told he is well on the mend now which is good news. Would always recommend when in full swing.
By far the best place I have stayed in Chapel St Leonards/Ingoldmells. Large rooms. Large en suite. Tea/coffee making facilities. Rooms are exceptionally clean. Based about a 10 minute walk from Chapel center. Shops chinese chip shop across the road. The bar downstairs is reasonably priced and has a restaurant attached . Without a doubt great value for the money we paid. Strongly recommend.
No staff to check in or out - Lights in room did not work and shower was stuck on the hottest temp which is not ideal during a heat wave. Then when I brought it to the attention of the staff (who I think were cleaners) could not have cared less. The bed is no way big enough for an adult, never mind two. VERY VERY expensive for what it is.
I can not rate rooms, but the public bar!!! Well!!

Choice drinks minimal.
Outdoor, Ashtray full not cleaned or tables,
Dog bowls, disgusting, filthy no water,
NO BEER, ONLY LARGER.
Did have Larger top and Wine spritzer,
Own bowl, water for dogs. Saw so many people go in come straight out.
That speaks for itself.
We stayed overnight. A really nice place, the room was excellent, nice and clean, smelt lovely and fresh when we walked in. I was surprised with how big the shower/toilet room was. Again spotless. Breakfast was great, all you need to start your day off. Nice friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay. We’d definitely stay again. And to say we stayed above the pub, we never heard a thing and got a great nights sleep. Thanks ????
Just arrived in motorhome . Were in motorhome club and britstop . Really nice owner loads of parking room . Great location ! Really good selection of drinks and the food looks amazing . Great place
I didn't stay, I went to the steakhouse for a meal.
Had burgers on Wednesday early evening, it was very quiet as it's out of season but wow.
The burgers were lovely, I will definitely be going back.
