I went a few weeks ago to try out the place and they did a decent job (the short white nails which were just an overlay of acrylic). I had to ask for some additional filing, but overall they look good. They did my toes as well and I like the way the acrylic on my toes were shaped. I returned today to get a fresh set and pedicure for the new year. The guy kept lying telling people they were booked and he wasn’t accepting anymore clients, starting at 12pm when they didn’t close until 3pm. I spent 2 hours there to get long, coffin acrylic nails with a French tip. The guy (heavy set and works at the front table) did a TERRIBLE job. My nails were ballerina shaped instead of coffin, the tip came down too low (as you can see some of the white in the pictures), he didn’t use enough polish on the tip so you could still see the pick acrylic in some areas and he didn’t file the nails to maintain the shape after putting the gel polish on. I kept trying to ask him to fix things. I asked him to add more polish and he did another coat that was noticeably uneven with the last, I asked him to make sure the white polish covered the entire tip so you couldn’t see any pink and more. It wasn’t working out so he said he could take them off and I could leave (there were 5 other techs there, I don’t understand why another tech couldn’t take over and fix them). When he took them off he clipped too close to my skin and cut my finger and wanted me to leave out with jagged nails. He refused to soak them off. I had him at least round them out so they wouldn’t be so jagged. HORRIBLE experience. I do not recommend going to him.
This place is the best. I don’t ever go anywhere other than Venus when I need my toes or nails done. They are the best and they greet you as soon as you walk in. Everyone there is great at nails but Tee is my personal favorite.
This was the second time I gave this place a chance. The first time the main gentleman did my nails and literary argued with me about what I wanted. I wanted to soak my nails off and get a new set and he was adamant about salvaging my old set. I’d had it on for over 3 months and just wanted a fresh set. It was only when I gathered my things to walk out that he finally agreed to do a fresh set.
I went back out of desperation and said I just go to someone else. The second time Jenny did my Pedi and Mani who was amazing. I chose regular polish just to hold me over for a week. However, after 4 cycles under the dryer they were still wet. No where near dry. Which to my understanding means she put too many coats of polish on. I had to leave and asked if I could back tomorrow to get them repolished since they were not dry to which the gentleman responded “you’ll just have to be careful”. They smudged even before I could leave the shop while putting my socks and shoes on.
He will be the reason they can’t keep customers because he doesn’t care to even TRY to be reasonable.
Never going back here again. And I don’t recommend them.
I took in an inspo picture and she got them pretty spot on. They were quick and efficient. Pricing is on par with about every other nail salon I have visited.
They got me together in about and hour and 10 minutes or so, came in at 6 pm and they a still let me go home satisfied. Cool conversation, nice spot, lots of options for designs/color/etc.
First off this place is the bomb!! Ken was very nice and laid my daughters nails out! Anna was excellent with my 6 year old daughter!! She also gave the best pedicures and was a sweet heart!! The pregnant woman (didn't catch her name) did a great job on my mother in laws nails and she is hard to impress!!! Overall, this will be our new nail home!
I wanted simple and basic. Best nails I’ve found in this area. Only place around here I will go back to. Love them.
Linda was awful. She was in a rush and the prices she charged are outrageous. Her attitude sucks big time. I changed my entire service as I do not recommend this place.
