Guys this lady is so nice!! I had just gotten out of track and me and my mom had been planning to go check out this salon. It’s service is literally so fast, the lady greeted us and seated us. She called me beautiful and gave me m&ms aww ???????????? the place is also so nice and next to a bakery outlet and many more. There’s subways, Dutch bros and Costa Rica nearby so it’s very convenient. Prices are fairly cheap , even $25 and $30 get you a good pedicure .Overall, V star is a great place to go get your nails done! If there was one thing that sort of bothered me is that the other workers were staring at me. On the other hand that is probably on me.
I’m not usually one to leave a bad review but I highly recommend you do not go here! Went in with my best friend to get pedicures and got COMPLETELY different treatment even though we came in together and sat right next to each other. I had multiple nail techs come over and start prepping my nails but the older lady came over but was extremely rough and made my big toe hurt so bad to the point it was bleeding everywhere. She just kept dumping alcohol on it and going back for some more! I asked her to stop multiple times because it was hurting but she just kept going. My toe nail was literally BLACK for weeks and my toe was THROBBING. By the time we were done, we both had ROUGH heels. When we asked about it, she just put on some bath and body works lotion like that was gonna solve it.. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. My heels are still so rough and messed up! As you can see in the picture, my big toe was swollen and didn’t even look like it was professionally done.
Sophia is the best! She takes her time and does a very good job! You have to get the full service pedicure with the wax it’s amazing!
Prices were $25 for a basic spa Pedi and $5 for gel. $35 for manicure $5 for gel. Johnny did a great job and prices were fair but seemed off from the signs they had posted. My sister got a deluxe pedicure and they took forever to give her one. Almost two hours and hurt her multiple times. They also charge her $15 for gel when only charging me $5. Make sure you get clear pricing before they begin. Seemed like they were scamming. She did not have Johnny but an older lady. Her eyebrow wax came out crooked and the place was dirty.
Mai always takes care of me . She takes her time and makes sure I like my nails every step of the way . I’ve gotten my nails done with her more than 6 times and my nails have lasted me up to 6 weeks (insane i know, and no nails broke!) I always ask for dip and she’s so eager to show me all the things I can get with dip so I leave with cute nails that are HEALTHY . Always recommend this spot .
Everyone who works here is so nice. They are fast and do a great job as well. Definitely will be back!
Johnny is AMAZING! He fixed my nails and takes his time. I will go to him forever now. Go see him!
Nice salon, reasonably priced. This is my go to place. Mai is amazing and so nice! She convinced me to get rid of the acrylics and switch up dipped nails. Best decision ever!! The creative possibilites are endless.
