Best PlaceJuice Reviews
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I walked in with my son who needed a haircut and not one person greeted us. We sat there for nearly an hour before someone asked if I was waiting for someone…or if I had an appointment which I didn’t because there’s no website so how was I supposed to know to book through a third party app. So my son didn’t get his haircut and the entire shop needs a lesson in professionalism and customer service. Very weird behavior.
Great barber shop! We personally use Ali. haven't seen him in a while since we moved out of the area. He did not disappoint us. He did a great cut on my son's hair. I'm a very particular mom. Santana is great as well. There are other great Barbers in there but I don't know their names.
Never coming here again I went there not only did that old barber PUSH ME BACK SO FAR his dirty a$$ clippers gave me bumps on my head yall need to teach them to clean they clippers
Unreliable hours !! Barbershop opens at 9:00AM, but most of them don’t show up till hours later.
Me and my dad just went there today and it was a wonderful experience. We were booked with Jay, and Mo, they made it a fun environment and left us with the best cuts. Their also really good with different types of hair!
They are on point as soon as you walk in the door. You are greeted and feel welcomed. I have been trying to find a legit barber shop in the area, and this is it. Got a dope fade and beard line up. When I got home everyone loved it. They even said I looked a lot younger.
First I would like to note that while I was seated and waiting to be cut, I noticed that the barbers in there can really cut hair. Ibraham is a killer on the clips -- he does a mean fade.
HOWEVER... DO NOT LET SANTANA CUT YOUR HAIR:
This was my first time visiting Unity Barber shop, so I had to gamble with trying a new barber. When I got to the shop, Santana was the first barber by the door. The kid getting his hair cut before me was getting a basic Caesar cut with a line up. I noticed Santana did a really clean line up on the kid, so I had faith that he would be able to cut my hair properly. When I sat down, I asked for my usual cut: a bald fade, a line up, and to keep the hair at the top of the head. Santana spent about 30 minutes cutting my hair. The entire time he cut my hair he was speaking loudly on the phone. I don't care if my barber talks on the phone while cutting my hair. However, I do care if my barber cannot cut my hair and talk on the phone at the same time. I believe this was the case with Santana because when I looked at the finished product, I was shocked by how bad my haircut looked. I get a VERY basic fade--definitely nothing fancy or complicated. However, my hair was not faded at all. All of the hair on the sides was shaved off at one length and there was a crooked line that marked where my hair curled at the top.
When I told him that I wasn't satisfied, and after two attempts to fix the cut, Santana told me that, "I was crying too much" and that he had been cutting hair for three years, so I obviously didn't know what I was talking about. He (the barber) was telling me (the PAYING customer) that I didn't know how I wanted my hair to be cut. I eventually had to go to another barber in the shop (who's name I don't remember -- sits right across from Ibraham) to fix my haircut. He did a great job fixing it, but I had to cut all of my hair off the top of my head.
I would definitely recommend Unity Barber shop to my friends, but I will caution them to stay far away from Santana.
Horrible Barbershop! Unfortunately Unity Barbers has gone down hill within the past two decades. High turn over in staff and poor customer service. My barber was on vacation so I decided to come to Unity (not by choice) but because it is close to where I live.
The man who cut my hair was constantly on his cell phone talking to his girlfriend. He then left his station to go chat with some friends who just entered the barber shop.
He only gave me a shape up and not a haircut which is what I had asked for originally and then wanted to charge me 25? Which I did not have on me so I had to go to 7/11 nearby to use their ATM to get cash out since Unity Barbers does not have a credit card system..
I paid him $30. He did not have cash back so he had to ask his other employees for $5... I definitely left the store without leaving a tip. Poor customer service.
