This is an affordable option. I understand that they are under new ownership and management. The Pool is clean and cute. The staff have all been super accommodating offering extra towels and recleqning the room union request. It’s centrally located in town and close to roan mountain state park and Johnson city.
Before I left, I called and asked for the prices but what they failed to inform me of is that if you pay cash, they charge you a $25 refundable fee. This would have been useful before I left my house.
If possible to give 0 stars I would. The front desk staff were SUPER nice but this place is disgusting. Cigarette burns in carpet/bedding, roaches in sink, room full of flies, stains on towels/bedding/pillows, room smelled like urine/smoke/mold/dirt, room ceiling/floor boards falling apart. Literally walked into the room and walked right back out to request a refund from the front desk. They were very nice people, but the “Inn” is beyond terrible.
Positive: The room's amenities, though simple and having a few years on them, were functional. The jet tub was very enjoyable. The air conditioning was sufficient too. The microwave and vents on the air conditioner needed work or replacement, but were usable
I am not one to follow reviews ???? but I should have on this dump. We got to the room smoking.... OK smelled like an ashtray. Went to use the bathroom NO WATER!! Front desk said they are working on it. We head to get dinner get back a couple hours later water is on..... power tools running all night long. Little brats running around banging on doors as they run by ZERO SLEEP. So we figure grab a shower and go home early 630 AGAIN NO WATER.. Front desk tells me at least you had a place to sleep uummm I just wanted to spend the day with my hubby exploring the area, we live an hour and a half from here. Should have driven home. This place is a dump. Avoid it!!!
Room had bugs. Pool is dirty but water is clear. Our a/c kept messing up and its to hot for that. Loved that the bathroom was off to the side. Bed is very comfortable I slept alot on my stay lol. Breakfast is kind of petty but not everywhere does breakfast now days. And sadly ice machine was broken :(
Rooms are all right, but the heat didn't work and s***** water pressure in the bathroom. Not to mention the roaches crawling around everywhere.
I don't know if the same people owns but 7 or 8 years ago me and my son and his friends stayed there. It was NASTY. I went to Walmart and got cleaning supplies and my mom a few things I know she would have liked. I told the kids as soon as we walked in the room to get out. That's how nasty it was. Well we get back from Walmart and getting something to eat. I started cleaning the rooms while the kids was outside on my phone cause I wouldn't let them come in untill I cleaned it. We are getting ready to leave when we got half way home and I noticed I left my mom's stuff there so we went back and the bag was gone and I told the lady and she went and got the manager or owner and he came back there and he says is not there I told him I wasn't blind I see that. I looked him right in the eyes and said one of your employees had to take it then he said was you cleaning in here last night I said yes why is that a problem he said we don't allow our guess we have house keeping. I said not good ones at all. I said I would never stay there again and haven't since then. This is America speak English
