Came in for the first time to get a ‘gel polish change’ that cost $32. The place is nice and the staff is nice. The nail tech I had was extremely sweet the whole time.
My problem is that I noticed she painted on my cuticles after she finished. When it’s painted like that it doesn’t last as long as it should. I got my nails done on Thursday (May 26) and today (Tuesday May 31) the polish has started to lift at the top. I know this should of lasted longer than a week for sure. I wanted to like this place, but I’m disappointed.
Everyone is so nice in this salon. They make you feel very welcome & taken care of. I showed them a picture of what I wanted & my nails look just like the picture. I will definitely be back.
David did an amazing job on my nails!!! My husband I live in Dallas and have never found this kind of service there. David was knowledgeable, funny, kind, and really darn good at detail!
My husband had a mani/pedi and I had a pedicure as well. All of the service providers we awesome! I strongly recommend Toi!!!
I’ve been getting my nails done here for almost a year and i’ve never been disappointed! Booking is easy, and service is always on time. My nails always look beautiful, the staff here is friendly and always willing to accommodate any requests. Also, David is amazing!
I had no problem with my pedicure. However, I respect my time and other peoples time so I arrived early for my 1 pm appointment. I had booked a 25-30 minute “quick pedicure” which was what I needed since I had other plans later in the day. I was taken to the back and left in the pedicure chair with no water or drink offered for 15 minutes. I finally asked the employee working to my right to find out why I’m sitting here with nothing going on. So then my pedicure lady rushes back and puts some water in the basin and leaves me again for another 10 minutes! Finally she returns and begins on my pedicure and I ask why so late? Seems they accommodated a customer who shows up 15 minutes late who had some wedding issues with picking up flowers , etc. so, to me that says punctual customers get punished for being on time. I told staff I wanted to talk to a manager but never found one. Management needs to either divert late customers to another tech or reschedule their appointment. It is not fair to have customers wait an extra half hour for services and this also caused me to cancel the event I had planned later that day with my family. Spa employees seemed to have no remorse or compensation for this inconvenience. Entitled customer without regard for other people’s schedules seems to be more important to them.
I came here for the first time , I’m actually still getting service) and I’m soooo blown away. This is literally a spa ! So peaceful as I receive my gel pedicure. It’s very clean inside and the tools they use on you are discarded. My appointment was at 2:30 pm and I was greeting and the service started at the time. Very nice nail spa. Definitely found a new place to go
I told the pedicure woman that the water was cold and she rolled her eyes. She then proceeds to puncture the liner by the drain area. I took my feet out and she demanded I put them back in. I told her the liner was pointless once she punctured it. She scoffed at me and copped an attitude. I told her I was leaving because she’s rude and she grabbed my foot! I demanded she let my foot go. She then starts begging my aunt to stay when she was trying to leave as well. The pedicure woman was talking to another employee while I was leaving and she stated “screw you” to me! Yep, I was right. She’s rude and I don’t support that kind of behavior. Her mistake as I am extraordinarily generous at Christmas time. Also, the salon had a suffocating amount of air freshener in the air.
Update: Owner, clearly you are clueless and it’s disconcerting that you are uneducated about what dirty nail salons can cause. People can be permanently disfigured or lose a limb. This is why liners and proper sanitation is so important. I’m disgusted that you would dare insult me after your employee was rude and stated “screw you” to me. You can’t speak on behalf of someone and that was not the recollection of events my aunt had. My aunt agreed the woman was rude and the building smelled awful. The woman cried because she was afraid she would get in trouble since the ONLY 2 patrons in the salon were leaving. We went to a better nail salon, had a wonderful experience, and it was a constant flow of patron traffic there. I see why you had no business. I’m glad I followed my intuition and left. You stink in many ways!
Needed a mani pedi done desperately, and was in Ft lauderdale for the weekend. Found Toi Spa on yelp. I have to say I am thoroughly satisfied with my entire experience. I booked 2 pedicures which were amazing, and a mani. Both experiences were incredible. The staff was so accommodating and kind. It was one of the best pedicures I've had. Polish was beautiful, and the spa pedicure my finance had came out amazing. My mani was done by David, and it came out absolutely beautiful. I will 100% be back for another. It wasn't crowded but they were booked for the whole day both Sat and Sunday when I was there. It was such a comfortable experience!
