I was very happy with my nails but it’s only been a week since I got them done and they’re starting to lift… when I get my gels done, if it’s very good they last up to 1 month. I can see the lifting because I got a light nail color and when there’s air bubbles from the lifting it’s obvious.
extremely disappointed. i keep an open mind when it comes to tigon because each person does everything a different way. this will be my last time paying an extreme amount of money for nails that i don’t even like. i asked for a french tip and as you can see it’s just a straight line across each side of my nail. also may i add not the right shape i asked for.
Always friendly and courteous. All the techs ask you what you want, how you want your nails filed, wether cut down or not. They have already changed my color after I decided I didn’t like it after they already started it. They make sure their customers are satisfied before you leave. Always accommodating, Great place, never disappointed .
I’m definitely not someone who writes bad reviews. I went in to get a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was fine and the lady was so nice! I was just extremely disappointed on the way my nails came out. First, I had requested an acrylic removal and a gel mani after the removal. She was going to take off my acrylic nails by popping them off with a nail tip which is painful so I asked her if she could soak them off. Coming from experience and being a nail technician, soaking the acrylic is the correct way to remove acrylics. She then filed my nails down with the drill & did not soak my nails off at all. As per the photo you can see the lumps of the acrylic still being left on. Also, They were oddly shaped and I had to ask numerous times to fixed the shaping. Overall it’s so sad to see how they let me walk out like that. Especially knowing the polish was on my cuticle I knew it was not going to last. As mentioned before, technician was super nice but this was such a horrible experience.
When it comes to nail salons, my expectations are low from so many bad experiences; but overall, I can say I am happy with my experience at Tigon’s Nails and Spa.
My friend and I were able to make last-minute appointments on Sunday for Monday at 4pm. Once arriving, they were running a little behind (we were not sat until 4:15-4:20); however, that would be my only complaint and they were extremely apologetic!
I got a basic pedicure with gel polish for $27 with their grand opening discount. The salon was clean and organized and the staff was extremely friendly. There was a huge selection of nail polish colors. When we left, we were gifted with a bottle of water and two small candy bars.
I definitely recommend giving them a try and will be going back again in the future!
I don’t ever leave reviews about any place, at all, but this experience calls for one! If i could give them a zero, i would. I’ve went to many nail places that have done a terrible job, but this place tops them all! From when i walked in and showed the inspo picture, they were very iffy about it, but gave me no chance to look for a new design. My friend that had went with me also had a terrible experience. Her inspo picture is the butterflies, but they told her they didn’t have those type, fine, but they handed her their sample designs that they can do.. she picked one she liked and asked if they could do that.. they told her yes, then 30 seconds later they told her they can’t because the lady that does designs wasn’t there that day. so you’re ALL that inexperienced that the 5 other people in there couldn’t do a simple flower design? she ended up just doing simple butterflies anyways, which were cute, but one nail had 2 butterflies, then the next had like 6. just very inconsistent! Hers came out very lumpy and not shaped well. Meanwhile, the nail lady doing my nails just wouldnt stop filing! she kept filing even when the polish was on, and they still came out not straight. She didn’t put enough layers of red dip powder so you could see the black straight through which didn’t turn out like the picture, so she decided to fix that by putting red gel polish UNDER my nails. Both of these sets are 5 1/2 days old and i have a broken nail and my friend is now missing butterflies. Definitely never going back and would not recommend!
I used to go to another salon but after going here, I'll continue to go here. I'm always welcomed and don't feel like just a number. The staff is amazing and it's great quality. The prices are good.
Yesterday I went to get a pedicure and decided to leave with a set too. I was super disappointed that they didn't push my cuticles back and they didn't trim my cuticles. Also I have wide nail beds so on some of my fingers you can see my real nail. They also didn't ask me to wash my hands in-between doing the acrylic and painting my nails. I'm disappointed for what I spent and what I walked out with.
