We only visited because we couldn't find a Macdonalds but we're starving after a long day at the Zoo but we were very glad we ended up here. The service was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and I'm one of those annoying customers. The table they I initially offered us was right by the door but it was cold so we asked not to sit there and without hesitation they opened up an area they had just closed and cleaned and even got the fire started up so we could be nice and warm. Also of course the food was great and really hit the spot.

Its tired and like most remaining Yeovil Town Centre pubs could use some investment in terms of how it looks. That said well supported by regular drinkers and often has entertainnent on. Beer selection is Lager focused but was glad to see one ale line installed recently so no need to resort to bottles. Staff work hard but it is what it is..a spit and sawdust without the sawdust.

Just seems like an ordinary traditional English pub.

If you don't like fancy fixtures and premium prices for booze then visit this pub.

Also it does help if you're over 30 and not on the pull as this is no chav pub.

I just visited it while the missus was spending my money in town.

Great pub with nice landlady and staff. Keep a good pint of real ale on tap and in the town centre.

The lovely Carol.and Michaela give you the warm well fast service always with a smile and chat great prices on drinks we love it there and well followed on covid 19 rules amazing

It's going...which is a shame ,like most pubs over time it had its moments and not..lady behind bar was brilliant..

Very friendly pub staff and people made me feel welcome had a excellent band on Fri 12 th Oct and dogs welcome
