Best PlaceJuice Reviews
Played cards there not a bad place wound not make it as my local the best fun was the parrot with all it's swear words
I stayed here last week with my daughter's, I loved the place and people and yes they don't have ensuite but that does reflect in the price, rooms are clean breakfast was great and beer well kept, don't have to many ciders I did never again hahah, I would definitely say again
Staying here in a double room for one night and honestly can’t complain!
Think it cost me £40 including breakfast (booked well in advance) so I was really dubious of what I was going to walk into for that price, but the room is really light and bright.
Good blackout curtains so no doubt I’ll get a good nights sleep tonight, sink in my bedroom so I don’t have to go down the hall to clean my teeth, comfy bed and a nice little telly with complimentary tea and coffee facilities in room.
It says shared bathroom on the booking (which does surprise me that some reviews they seemed to be surprised there wasn’t an ensuite when it clearly states shared bathroom)
And again at just £40 I was really dubious at what the shared bathroom was going to be like(half expecting swimming bath style communal areas). But the toilet is really lovely, spacious and clean and then there’s separate, lockable shower room which again, nice and large and spacious.
For £40 for a double room that includes a free breakfast, again I just can’t see any faults. If you want something more lavish then you pay more for it.
The host was absolutely sweet and lovely too so I’ll be coming again
Great place to stay to visit anywhere in Cornwall
Friendly & accommodating hosts, gd rooms gd ale.
Don't miss the parrot n fish tank
The toilet was clean.
The breakfast was okay.
The lady who served me was pleasant.
The room smelt dreadful - I had to buy air freshener and antibacterial spray to combat the smell, I used it morning and night, 3 nights in total. The smell permeated my clothes too.
The shower room had black grim around the shower tray.
I had a crack in the rooms window.
There was noise from car racers at night.
Well worth staying. Staff are all friendly and obliging. Locals friendly and breakfast is fantastic enough to set you up for at least mid afternoon.
I had booked this hotel, and it looked great, but on arrival we found that it didn't have an en suite bathroom, which put my wife off completely. The bedroom was spacious with a four poster bed which looked lovely, but the lack of a personal bathroom within the room just put my wife off staying there. I have to say the manageress was very gracious when we had to cancel our reservation.
Very good value for money. I paid £35 for a twin room with breakfast included. Friendly pub downstairs and a decent night's sleep.
