Rude manager and dead atmosphere ruins lovely pub.

Within 5 minutes of sitting down, I was asked "you getting a drink mate?" - by his chippy and aggressive tone it was obvious the manager was accusing me of using the pub without buying anything.

He walked off with an annoyed look on his face as if I, as a customer, was an inconvenience. I walked over to him and called him out on it, saying that no wonder there were no customers here if he made everyone feel like a nuisance. He looked sheepish and started to get defensive, saying "no other customer is complaining.." - ironically there were about 4 people in the whole pub - if you have no customers, they cannot complain! Haha. Pure comedy gold. I definitely won't be going back.

He ran off getting defensive and predictably shirty like people of his type do.

The lovely pub with wooden beams could be such a thriving, friendly community place, but unfortunately it is not thriving in the slightest and it is a big shame.

Came in for a friends birthday. As soon as we came in they closed their pool table. One friend accidentally dropped his glass and they kicked us out. Felt like a racial attack as most of us were people of colour. Never coming here again. Absolutely atrocious, this place needs repressions for their actions. I’m appalled.

Good traditional pub, mix of craft and cask ales on tap along with lagers, ciders, Guinness, etc. Didn't try the food, but the menu looks good and not too expensive. Big screens for the football, friendly staff and clean toilets. Great spot.

Played a gig here to a very responsive crowd, and had pizza to eat that was very good. The staff were all very welcoming

Dropped in to catch the end of the cricket on a Tuesday evening. Pub was clean and tidy, practically empty. Comfortable seating and a few large flat screens.

Service at the bar was quick.

Absolutely banging for a Friday before Christmas, top place , great music and decent price on drinks

Great little pub,had a nice curry and watched Liverpool stuff Atheletico Madrid,very good night.

Also pretty quiet which for me was just fine.
