Nice but not great, proper builders pub where the sign doesn't even match the name, only one ale on tap and its not the best.
One of the busiest pubs in Newton Abbot. Place tends to get quite crowded (which I deducted a point for, not that that is there fault of course! I just personally don't like too crowded a place)
Anyway, the staff have always seemed pretty friendly and welcoming.
There's two pool tables and they often use a large projector for sports events.
Pretty nice pub overall. Just too crowded for my liking.
If you want a wine bar, this is not the place. It's what you would call a proper boozer with proper good, tasty beer, ales and ciders. Oh and a few lagers.

Bar area very noisy people eating breakfast at the bar . Music BANG BANG BANG at 1230 sat lunchtime... old men in other bar just sat staring .
