A lovely pub, relaxed and warm atmosphere. Good choice of drinks and friendly, prompt service. We were there on curry night and would highly recommend the meal deal, we also had desert (bounty cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding). One curry choice, homemade and tasty. Really lovely food, and the chips were homemade and great!

Friendly staff, and friendly locals happy to have a chat. Great ale. We didn't dine on this occasion.

In a small village full of pubs, this one is well worth a visit

Wasn’t impressed with the roast dinner, especially the lack of green vegetables and the peas looked like they had been boiled within a inch of their life! I wanted chicken but only red meat and fish was shown on the menu, but when I asked they did have chicken, not sure why this wasn’t shown, there was also no prices on the menu.

Food wasn’t that nice, wouldn’t go back here again and limited vegetarian food.

Also when I came to pay it was cash only and I was asked to go to the cash point next door which charged for withdrawing cash, wasn’t happy about that so the pub paid the charge for me, not a great experience.

Food here was great and very well priced. Sunday lunch and dessert for 2 people for less than £30. Can’t go wrong at that price!

Large portions of food which is rich in flavour. Cheerful staff. Ran out of quite a few menu items after ordering. Wise to ask if they have what you want in to avoid disappointment.

Really good pub food. Went for a work Christmas night out and the service and atmosphere was fab. Little gem x

Lovely food and festive menu is good. Cosy , friendly owners which made u feel welcome. Sunday dinner is worth a visit.

Absolutely lovely meal, well cooked and staff at the bar and serving food were extremely friendly and welcoming
