Best PlaceJuice Reviews

I visited late on a Wednesday evening to buy some chips and a couple of battered Mars bars. The chips were some of the best I've ever had (even better than 'orange' chips from where I live) and the Mars bars were a real treat. The staff were also wonderful and the service was fast.
Normally I would say great food but where is the batter on my cod it's so thin and tastes very very weird soapy ,the fish in the second box was in half and batter lacked the entire broken fish ..chips well I wouldn't say we had a portion each maybe between us yes . My box is swimming in grease .Not impressed.
Crispy chips, crunch batter, delicious fish. Seriously the best fish and chips we've had anywhere.
Went for 1st time last night after moving close by 6 months ago. Wasn't disappointed. Cooked fresh fish chips and pea fritter for me and hubby. Was quite big portions so will get 1 meal between us on our next visit. We couldn't eat it all. Really friendly and excellent customer service with a smile.????
To be honest we wasn't impressed with our food that got delivered. Chips had a funny taste to them and the jumbo battered sausage was burnt and dark .crispy hard that they were not edible. If you can't deliver good quality food then don't take the money and don't send out what's been sat in your warmer for ages. Very disappointed
I have just paid over 15.00 for what I expected to be a haddock, large chips at over 3.00 and 2 large sausages. I was presented with a slim box which when I opened it I had at best a very small cod / gudgeon, 2 sausages and at best a small portion of chips underneath @ 3.30 a portion. I strongly urge everyone to avoid this rip off local and get value and quality at Squires or the Pelican as it is well worth the journey. Total Rip Off. Avoid
Great fish and chips, but do prior order or you might be waiting a while
Ordered through JustEat. Order arrived and was missing a portion of chips, rang up and told them and they took no responsibility for it and said there was nothing they could do. Said if I wanted a portion I would have to reorder through JustEat which would have meant paying another delivery and service fee!! Also the other portions of chips I did receive were the smallest I've ever had even though I ordered a large portion. My partner pulled out a few bones from his fish too... Potato Scallop was rock solid so if you like your potatoes raw this is the place for you! Lady I spoke to on the phone was also very patronising and rude and couldn't wait to put the phone down. TERRIBLE CUSTOMDR SERVICE!!!

Quick Facts About The Pilton Fryer

The Pilton Fryer appears to have a mix of positive and negative comments, indicating that there are both strengths and weaknesses to the establishment. In this analysis, we will explore these comments and identify the main strengths and weaknesses of The Pilton Fryer.
Starting with the positive comments, several customers express their satisfaction with the food quality. One visitor states that the chips were some of the best they have ever had, even surpassing the quality of chips from their local area. Additionally, others mention the crispy chips, crunchy batter, and delicious fish, claiming that it is the best fish and chips they have had anywhere. These comments highlight the strength of the taste and quality of the food at The Pilton Fryer.
Another aspect that receives praise is the service. One customer mentions that the staff were wonderful and the service was fast, while another states that they received excellent customer service with a smile. These positive experiences reflect a strength in the customer service provided by The Pilton Fryer, suggesting that the staff are friendly and efficient.
However, there are also several negative comments that point out weaknesses in The Pilton Fryer's offerings. One customer expresses disappointment with the thin batter on their cod, describing it as tasting weird and soapy. Another comment mentions that the fish in the second box was broken and lacked batter, indicating a lack of consistency in the preparation and quality control of the food. These comments suggest that the restaurant may have some weaknesses in maintaining the desired quality of their main dishes.
Furthermore, there are complaints about the portion sizes and issues with the delivery service. One customer states that they did not receive their full order of chips and when they contacted the establishment, they received no resolution. They were told to place another order through the delivery service, incurring additional fees. Additionally, some customers mention that the chips they did receive were small, despite ordering a large portion. These comments highlight weaknesses in portion control and customer service, indicating that The Pilton Fryer may struggle with maintaining consistency in portion sizes and resolving customer complaints.
Another negative comment mentions the high prices compared to the portion sizes received. The customer paid over £15 for a meal that they felt was not worth the price. They received a small cod/gudgeon, 2 sausages, and a small portion of chips, which they considered a rip-off compared to other local establishments. This comment reveals a weakness in the pricing strategy of The Pilton Fryer, suggesting that the value for money may not be satisfactory for some customers.
Lastly, there is a comment about the poor quality of a potato scallop, stating that it was rock solid. This indicates a weakness in the consistency of food preparation and the quality control of side dishes.
In summary, The Pilton Fryer appears to have strengths in the taste and quality of their food, as well as friendly and efficient customer service. However, they also have weaknesses in maintaining consistent food quality, portion control, delivery service, and pricing. These weaknesses can impact customer satisfaction and may need to be addressed by The Pilton Fryer to improve their overall offering.
