My favorite bar in town! Always a safe place and great employees plus karaoke and darts. Come have a drink with me
Ax throwing is fun but not at that price should have group price
So I’ve been going to the parlor a couple years now so I’m a regular and I come in spurts. I love the owner, Jared he is amazing and always makes me feel welcome, most of his employees are good too. The last couple of times however, I’ve been encountering this rude bartender. She looks fairly young but acts like she doesn’t want to be there. She doesn’t talk to me and it’s hard for me to even get her attention because she blatantly ignores me. She makes me really uncomfortable and I don’t feel welcomed. However when I bring my guy friends with she goes out of her way for them even if they’re not drinking and my DD. My guy friends even told me she makes them feel uncomfortable because of how she looks at them and gives them elevator eyes. They even notice how rude she is with me and how long it takes to serve me next even though I’m ready for my next drink and there will be a lot of time in between. I just hope she does better in the future so I feel comfortable again going to my favorite bar. Until then I’m just going to go to other bars until she works on her customer service skills.
It says food on the awning but there's 3 choices. Pizza, garlic cheese bread and a sandwich (which I couldn't understand name sounded like goat burger) which is a burger between two pieces of the garlic cheese bread. This was pretty good. The staff assumed we were a lesbian couple and the air was thick until I said something about my husband and hers. There was no possibility of running a tab and everything was paid for in advance even tho we were the only people in there
One of my favorite bars. Staff is super friendly. Jared is a great guy and super respectful. 10/10 would recommend.
Feels like home ???? love the bartenders. Get greeted by first name every time. Great place to have some drinks, play darts and pool.
Great staff and music. I love darts and so do they. They indulged me in my love for limes too! It's a great time.
Great place to meet friends and new people the owner and the bartenders make you feel at home and a great place to get food and drinks.

Quick Facts About The Parlor

The Parlor place has several strengths that make it a favorite bar in town for many customers. One of its main strengths is its safe and welcoming atmosphere. Multiple comments mention feeling comfortable and at home at The Parlor place. The owner, Jared, is specifically mentioned as being amazing and making customers feel welcome. This shows that the staff at The Parlor place prioritize creating a friendly and inclusive environment for all patrons.
Another strength of The Parlor place is the variety of activities available. Karaoke and darts are mentioned in the comments, indicating that there are options for entertainment beyond just drinking. This appeals to a wider range of customers who may be looking for something more than just a typical bar experience.
Additionally, The Parlor place is praised for its great staff. Multiple comments mention the bartenders by name and highlight their friendly demeanor and personal approach to customer service. Being greeted by first name every time and feeling acknowledged and valued as a customer contributes to the positive experience at the bar.
The Parlor place also offers ax throwing, which is mentioned as being fun by one comment. However, a weakness pointed out by a different comment is the price of ax throwing. The customer suggests that there should be a group price, implying that the current pricing may be too high for individual participants.
The comment about the limited food options is another weakness of The Parlor place. While the comment mentions that the food they tried was good, it criticizes the fact that there are only three choices available (pizza, garlic cheese bread, and a sandwich). This limitation may not cater to customers with more diverse dietary preferences or restrictions.
Another weakness pointed out by a customer is the behavior of a specific bartender. The comment describes an uncomfortable experience with a bartender who appears disinterested and ignores the customer. The bartender is accused of showing favoritism towards male customers and providing them better service. The customer hopes that the bartender will improve her customer service skills in the future. This negative interaction with a staff member could impact the overall experience and make certain customers feel unwelcome.
It is worth noting that one comment mentions not being able to run a tab and having to pay for everything in advance, even though they were the only customers in the bar. This could be seen as a weakness, as it limits the convenience and flexibility for customers who might prefer to keep a tab open.
In conclusion, The Parlor place has several strengths, including a safe and welcoming atmosphere, a variety of activities, and a friendly and attentive staff. However, weaknesses include the high price of ax throwing, limited food options, inconsistent customer service from one bartender, and the inability to run a tab. Addressing these weaknesses could further enhance the overall customer experience at The Parlor place.
