You recently did my mums wedding Margaret hammond and as her son I just wanted to thank you for such an amazing day. All your staff were top class nothing was to much trouble and the food was great. All the staff that looked after my mums special day you are a credit to the company and should be very proud of yourselves for making it so special.

We had the pleasure of having a wonderful stay here. The rooms are lovely, the building itself is stunning and the grounds. We had an afternoon tea also which was delicious and with the option for tea or a glass of something sparkly. Very pleasant.

Came for the christmas party with my work colleagues and had an amazing night! High class venue and event with a friendly and safe atmosphere! Cocktails&Canapes on arrival and a very very nice dinner menu - nothing was too much trouble and they provided everything you could need. Excellent dj who played to his audience and ensured everyone had a wonderful time! Will be back next year!

We were guests at a friend's wedding so we're only there for the evening event and didn't have accommodation. The venue is well kept and very picturesque with a lovely intimate garden to the rear. Although for some time there was only one staff member on at the bar they did work hard and the casual snacks (mini fish and chips/mini haloumi) that were circulated later on were delicious. Great place with an authentic feel.

The Old Deanery is a beautiful venue situated directly opposite Ripon Cathedral. My wife and I just had our wedding reception here, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Our hosts were friendly, professional and courteous right from the get go. On the day, there wasn't a single hiccup from the moment our guests arrived until everyone had left. Welcome drinks, canapés, a wedding breakfast, a wedding toast and snacks were provided for 64 people. Without exception, the food was delicious, well-presented and tailored to our needs and those of our guests, who included vegans, coeliacs and some who were just plain fussy. We were given a wide variety of menu choices, with a lot of innovation and thought going into to all of the dishes. Even the bartender was an absolute legend.

We also had the pleasure of staying the night in one of the venue's luxurious rooms, which was right out of a period drama. At breakfast, we were greeted like old friends.

All of the above was provided at what I would consider to be a reasonable cost.

We are deeply grateful to Rebecca, David, Chris and the team for making our big day special.

I cannot recommend it enough.

Had a cream tea. Fabulous selection and excellent value. Staff were top notch. Overall a great hour or two on a Sunday afternoon. Take you time and enjoy! ????

Simply beautiful, this venue is breathtaking with the perfect location and picturesque views I would strongly recommend this venue. Can't rate the owners (Chris & Bex) highly enough, caring kind and nothing is too much. Highly recommended

Excellent hotel and staff. Very picturesque, and directly across the road from the Ripon Cathedral. Extraordinary to be woken in the morning by the bells of a massive medieval church.
