Lovely and fresh. Chips are great. Very short walk around the corner you can enjoy the amazing food with a great view. £7 for a small cod and chips, for small its a decent size and not that expensive considering where its based.
They don’t put the sauce on your meal so only ONE sachet is all you get. Anything more you gotta pay 30p each. They only have ketchup and mayonnaise!
Not enough salt either and we took the food down the harbour and were so disappointed.
The food was so oily as I think they hadn’t let it drain after it was cooked. And no napkins given either!!!
It was not what we really hopped for and honestly I can’t understand how some people have left 5stars reviews.
I would not recommend the place.
Fish chips and gravy cooked to perfection, eaten overlooking the beach.

A very enjoyable take away meal and good value too.
We went here on a Friday evening in October and it was quiet.
We ordered two cod and chips to take away, and these were fresh cooked and ready in just over ten minutes.
The lady who took our order and payment was very friendly and pleasant.
We paid by card, which they accept if the cost is over £5. As of the end of October 2018, contactless payment is now available.
The food was still hot when we got back to our camp site. We'd each be given a tartar sauce pouch included in the price.
The fish, batter and chips were great. Only rarely have we had better fish and chips, and for what we paid it was excellent value.
We did a second visit during our stay. Same good quality food. As it was a Saturday it took a little longer, but worth the wait.
The fact this restaurant uses vegetable oil makes a lot of difference to the flavour too. Much more preferable to the beef flavour others have locally.
The eat in restaurant was closed on our visit. It seats around 24 people in total and the shop and restaurant are step free.
Order was 2x large chips, 2x scampi, 2x curry sauce and 2x mushy peas.
Poor cuts of chips soaking in overburnt oil.
Unfortunately the curry sauce was the worst I've ever tried. Probably just curry powder, water, some dried onion and ginger mixed together and thickened with potato starch.
Mushy peas tasted sour? Never had that before.
I love food and love people who share food with others but cooking chips in old oil is just unacceptable.
Remember, not every tourist is a dumm eater.

One of the best fish and chips I've had! We tried the battered haddock and chips, grilled hake and chips and crispy squid! Loved every mouthful. Reasonably priced and couldn't fault the service. An absolute gem in a stunning location. Thank you.
All cooked fresh. Very nice, take down to the harbour steps and enjoy the view
Loved it. Went back 3 or 4 times over a week.
Park in sainsburys (buy a bottle of ketchup if you're bothered about paying 30p for a sachet) its just down the stairs from the car park
