When you are slightly early for a train and decide you’d like a swift pint, this is the place. I was in around 7 on a Sat night and there was quick service by the bartender. She was smiley and helpful and made a lovely impression very quickly. :)

Little bit pricey but aside from that a quiet pub right near the train station. Bar maid was lovely and polite too!

Not a frequent visitor, but every time I go there staff and locals always friendly and welcoming.

Lovely pub. Visited on Saturday before football. Nice outside area.

Varied selection of lagers and ales.

Biggest plus was Beth and the friendly staff.
