Called here today on the off chance I could get a quick cut with my baby boy in tow expecting to be either told no or it be a stressful experience. I so wish I had come here sooner, after leaving my hair for a year whilst pregnant and having him it was really long. Was cut amazingly and I couldn't be happier. I wish I'd have got the man's name so I could thank him personally. Was amazing with my little boy when he got a bit narky and I never felt like I was being a pest! Completely restyled my hair and I am really chuffed. I'd have paid 4x what I was charged if I could! Will definitely visit again soon :)
A highly skilled and patient hairdresser by the name of Michelle works at the Ecclesall Road branch. Since the first time she cut my hair some 3 years ago, I will have no one else. She cuts and styles my hair the way I want it, and seeks my opinion as well as offering suggestions. She does not rush, the total result is fabulous and I always leave the shop feeling very pleased with the cut. I cannot recommend her enough.
Brilliant value for your hard earned cash as he cuts fast and cuts well saving you time energy and money.
Not currently cutting beards so knocked a star off for that but brilliant never the less.
I had my hair cut at Mexborough a few years ago by Sarah. It was the best it had ever looked! Since then I won't let anyone else near my hair. When I need a trim I text Sarah to ask her where she is working. I have been to a few different shops as Sarah works all over. Sarah is very professional, has good customer service skills and very good at her job. Highly recommended.
Review by Oscar aged 7: I had my hair cut by Mark straight after lockdown because it was getting in my eyes. Everyone had to wear masks and Mark had a special visor too. The the door was open so nobody touched it and Mark made sure the seats were cleaned too. And he had aprons that got thrown away, it was very clean and I felt safe there. Mark is the best hairdresser and my hair looks cool!
I have had bad experiences here in the past, One of the older women who is always very rude to me and seems to have a problem with my family when they have been in and Michelle hasn't been there... asked if anyone knew where Michelle had moved to and nobody would tell me... however I have recently found her in the Big Tesco's Extra on the edges of Chesterfield! Much higher quality barbers and worth the extra 10 mins driving, Michelle always does a great job and is worth following
My husband and I have just been to Eccelsall Road for a hair cut and saw Michelle, we find her extremely friendly helpful, and nothing is too much trouble for her. We follow her, to whichever shop she may be working in as she cuts our hair exactly as we want it .
She has a good sense of humour and she is very easy to talk to and with.
She is a credit to your company. Keep up the good work Michelle, we don't know what we would do without you.

My hair is long and desperately needed a cut. Haven't been all year, felt wary with the covid situation. But I went the other week. The chair was cleaned down, plenty of sanitizer and hygienic. Mark cut my hair. He hasn't cut my hair before, but he gave it a good much needed cut. He did a good job and I will go back to him when it needs doing again. ????
