Fabulous pub ,lovely people x bar staff are amazing. Very clean the decor is amazing, full of character as are the customers too x

Nice old fashioned pub in the centre of town.

Small, but seems welcoming.

What a bar back. Very handy pub if caught in the rain on the way to Conway Park station. No hand pulled beers.

Its extremely clean pleasant nice staff. Lovely old style pub nice atmosphere. Remember it from a child. Relative of my grandfather ran it over 50yrs ago. It's a credit to the owner

Good warm atmosphere with great beers.

Mine host's Mark and Kathy along with there friendly bar staff really make you feel welcome.

Visited this bar several times and will continue to do so.

Friendly, no frills pub with recently refurbed garden, (dogs welcome). Handy for a refreshing drink after visiting the nearby market.

I'd give 1 but the bar lady tonight was actually nice, my experience last time was not as good. The beer from draft put me off this place for life, however after a meeting in Birkenhead without my knowledge everyone piled in to this pub. Not happy, but the girl behind the bar was pleasant, smiling and quick to serve, I ordered a bottle from experience but the rest were happy with the draft beers. The lady on tonight had brought what was a bad experience to a positive one. And since Wetherpoons shut this place has definitely got busier. I guess the best thing is it is a traditional pub like they used to make them!

So yeah recommend with the right company and in my experience bottles.

Not to write this place off yet.
