I’ve been coming to the classic barbershop for years and can not say enough good things about my experiences. Ryan is an absolute master of his craft and not only provides an incredible high quality cut and shave but also great conversation and a true barbershop experience. Being appointment only ensures you are never just sitting around waiting for hours for your service. While you are there, his sole focus is on your experience. You can not find a better quality, fairly priced shop around. You will never leave disappointed.

Ryan is a master at his craft. The Classic Barber Shop isn’t just a haircut, it really is an experience. Ryan goes about his work with intense detail and incredible customer service. He’s attentive, skilled, and also just a great guy himself. I get a haircut and a deluxe beard trim/shave every time I’m in there and I have yet to leave with anything other than perfection. His deluxe beard trim and shave gets me laid down in the chair and lathered up with custom made shave cream and a straight blade taken to me like they used to back in the day. I love every second of the hot towel compress before and after the shave, as well as the shave itself. Nothing better than a straight blade. Every hair cut also comes with a hot cream neck shave and ear trim, again with a straight blade. The ambiance is exactly what you’d expect and hope to find at a barber shop, and Ryan does everything he can to keep it that way. If you want a high quality cut and/or shave, don’t try anywhere else. Ryan is the go to at The Classic Barbershop. I don’t see myself going anywhere else!
I havent ever felt comfortable finding a barber until i went on a whim and tried out ryans shop. I have been continuously going to him for 3 years now. top notch!

Ryan’s been running this shop for years and I’ve been recommending him to my friends and family for just as long. When I share the recommendation I tell them it’s more of an experience than just a hair cut.
Call for an appointment and he will get you in at a time and day that work for both of your schedules. You will be welcomed into his properly appointed establishment with a smile and he will most likely be finishing up with his previous client. Just take a seat and chill or stroll around and take a gander at his art and taxidermy. Once he finishes with the previous client, you can take a seat in his chair while he handles payment and scheduling with them.
Ryan will ask you what you want and set your expectations accordingly. You can get a cut or shave or beard trim or a combination of the bunch. I’ll admit the prices are most likely more than you’re used to, but I promise that the experience and the results will be worth it. He’s got a lifelong customer here and I have a feeling you will end up being one too.
Got my first haircut here today and was thoroughly impressed. Ryan takes his time to understand your needs and gives you options for styling according to your hair type. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. You can pay less and get a “haircut” at any number of places around the area that know 3 styles and use nothing but clippers , or pay a little more and get a haircut from a professional with scissors that continues the ageless tradition of barbering. I’m gonna be back for a wet shave
Ryan is, hands down, the best barber in Northeast Ohio. He is an absolute perfectionist and I have never left disappointed in his services. Ryan has been my barber for the last two years. I live in Toledo and drive 1.5 hrs every month to see him and it's worth every penny. I will be a customer for life and I have no hesitation giving Ryan and Classic Barber Shop my full endorsement!

You won't find a better barber. Look, I've tried a bunch of different places with a bunch of barbers that get good to great reviews on Google and Yelp, but not one of them comes close to matching Ryan. He's professional, enjoyable to talk to, and he does incredibly great work. I'll be making the two-hour round trip drive to see him once a month from here on out. Schedule an appointment. You won't be disappointed.
