My daughter hired the venue for a Christening. Food absolutely disgusting, outside area which we had use of was overgrown with tall weeds, ash trays full with cigarette butt's, overall the place was filthy. Not even worth one star!

Very nice place to bring family..Great cook amazing cheesecake. Entertainment brilliant. Well done land lady Carrie for making us all welcome.

Very nice food and the staff make you feel welcome. Called in just for a quick tea burger and chips was lovely ????

Very nice old pub feel. Clean and tidy and the staff are really friendly. Good to hear music from the 70's 80's and 90's. First time there and would be happy to return.

We sadly hired the room for my mum's wake after her funeral, very good great service nice place was pleased with the room and bar staff we payed a private catering person

went for food at the chancel, omg, it was shocking, it is clear they have a new cook and obvious they don't know what they are doing. would avoid if i was you, food was very bland, it was cold, only took a few bites, had to leave the rest, luckily didnt eat enough for food poisoning. very disappointed, used to be good for food. wont be returning in the near future.

I have to say ,what an absolutely fantastic job the staff are doing keeping up with all the covid precautions and equally all the customers demands working incredibly hard ,can't praise them enough !!! ,well done
