Gutes Essen, gutes Bier. Flotte, nette Bedienung. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Stopped at this local pub while waiting for our tour bus to arrive and was pleasantly surprised on how good their fish and chips were and the beer selection that followed.

Had cold drinks and great people watching from our patio seat as well which is always a plus in my books.

I would definitely recommend popping in if you are in the area visiting the Roman baths like I was!

Having missed our train we needed to grab a seat in a warm place for an hour. And this corner pub fitted the bill nicely. We had a house brandy each. (I love ale but not straight after a meal!)

Place is nothing fancy but the staff were friendly, the choice of beers good. Next time I'm in Bath I will try to pop in.

Great place! Always something interesting happening outside, it's great for people watching. They have Guinness and great staff. Love the Ale House x

Very friendly staff. Always welcoming to us for an after work drink. Late license too so great to enjoy till you can't anymore. And on top of that they have a magic bar in the same building!

An eclectic venue, sticklers for the mask mandate (they take it very very seriously) but well mannered and inoffensive. The food looked average which was a blessing as they allow external food. Paying for drinks after every round is a bit much but I guess they have to look after themselves. They had the footy on which was good. Tv was a little small, personalities at the pub were not! 4 stars!
