My daughter Ayva comes here and sees Ms.Lisa as her hairstylist. Ms.Lisa does a very great job of taking care of her hair, with my daughter only being 6 it’s so hair to trust stylist who aren’t good with kids. I can’t definitely say my daughter looks forward to going to this salon (Durham) and getting serviced. The atmosphere is so calm, the salon is always clean and welcoming. I’m such an advocate for natural products and this salon lives up to that. Book your appointment!

I enjoyed my experience today. Booked a consult with Destiny, ended up being able to set an appointment. Decided on the trim, deep conditioning and twist. She was very knowledgeable about my hair type. Next appointment set for 3 weeks.

I love coming to see Sam! She takes time to educate me. I’ve been a client of Samantha for over a year and will never see anyone else. I appreciate her work ethics and style. Choose Sam for all your hair needs.

If you have 4C Natural hair do not go to this salon they do not know how to take care of it.

I received a wash, blow dry, trim, and the cornrows above for $115. The majority of my visit I was in pain. It was clear the stylist had not worked with 4C hair before, she said my hair was “really thick”. She was combing from root to end instead of end to root. There was a moment when the front desk lady told her to check on me because “her client seemed to be experiencing pain”.

These are feed-in braids, not enough hair used at all. It is not secured well in certain sections of the hair are not braided in completely either(look at the bottom of both braids).

I have gone to hair salons and gotten this style countless times in the past with my 4C hair and never had any issues.

This is my first time at Taji Hair Salon and I have to say I’m very satisfied with my visit. Ms. Samantha was very nice and welcoming! She works very fast and efficiently and I would definitely recommend coming to Taji Natural Hair Salon :)

I’ve been working with Samantha for a few months in an effort to bring my scalp and hair to the healthiest point it can be, and I’ve seen really great improvements. Mary and Henry have both been awesome with shampooing/conditioning my hair and they deserve a shout out as well. I’ll definitely be returning and I look forward to all the cool styles Samantha can come up with, all with a healthier head of hair!

DESTINY IS THE GOAT!!!! I am from Chicago and scheduled an appointment for full color service and loc maintenance and she did an amazing job. I am in love with my hair color, it is truly unique and gorgeous. I definitely recommend her and appreciate her for her services. Henry also helped out as well, and he was great!! I enjoyed the atmosphere and everyone is very friendly and helpful. Destiny is also a very good hair stylist and helped me greatly in starting my journey into getting my hair locked. I would recommend anyone to come here if they are starting or currently have locks as well as other styles.
