Had an excellent experience with Philip. I had to do a little research with my Turkish hairdresser for 20 years in Maryland.
After going to two different people here in Sarasota I knew I needed something more. He led me to Phillip and I couldn’t be happier.
He had to spend a lot of time repairing my hair. I couldn’t believe the before and after pictures. Not only are the style and highlights amazing, my hair is so much healthier. He also advised me on some conditioning to do at least weekly to keep it healthy.
I will definitely be returning for regular hair appointments.

My best friend recommended Suna when I decided to get a bikini wax for my wedding, and I was so impressed with the results that I have been going to Suna now for several months for her sugar wax services! She is very quick and thorough, which I appreciate immensely! The salon is clean and inviting and the Suna team is very friendly and always able to get me in for a wax on the date and time that I request! I couldn't recommend Suna Salon enough! I wouldn't go anywhere but Suna's for all my sugar waxing needs!

This small, family owned establishment is top-notch!. The owner took me in for a last minute hair appointment (cut and bleach/tone, style blonde hair) and just did an incredible, professional job. Prices are more than fare for the service you will receive.
Horrible customer service!! Went in for sugar waxing, the lady did not explain anything and just went for the kill lol. I told her it was my first time and that she caught me off guard. She started yelling at me and said I wasn’t ready. Then told me to get out but wouldn’t leave the room for me to put my clothes on. Then she proceeded to keep screaming and tell her staff that I was mental, stupid, and more pleasant words.
Edit: Don’t go if you’re black!! They’re very racist and was shock to see I was black. (I made the apt over the phone and I have a white girl voice)
RESPONSE BACK TO OWNER: That is not what happened at all!!! I never called her out of her name and when I tried to explain what happened I was told to shut up and that no one is going to listen to me. Let’s keep it real like be for real!
I found this place randomly on google while searching for a salon near me it turns out the best I would go back always very sweet people the lady did a great job and took care of me way better than European wax thank you
I frequently visit Suna Salon and love how professional and attentive their staff members are. Although getting a wax is a painful experience I appreciate how they expedited the process.
Deanna is an absolute pleasure and a true professional. I am always excited for each haircut and the fabulous experience. Shes gives me these amazing head massages during shampoos. Suna Salon is an absolutely beautiful salon and has an amazing staff!
I have been coming down to Sarasota for the past 3 years and have had a few terrible experiences with stylists but not this time! Phillip did a great job color matching my roots and gave me a fantastic cut. He was very professional and the cost for my experience was very reasonable! I will be back next year.
