Great Salon! The Owner does speak very good English as well. I came in for a trim and a blowout and a woman (with red hair), I didn’t get her name unfortunately. But she was my stylist and I will let the pictures speak for me! :) I will definitely be returning for my next trim. Not to mention how extremely affordable this salon is as well. (First pic is before and the next two are after)
I love this Dominican Shop! Definitely Professional & Affordable! Lordes, did an amazing job with a Deep Condition & Silk Press Blow Out. I’ve been wearing knotless braids during the Covid era #TwoYearsNoHeat. She gave my hair patience & extra TLC with my coarse texture! ☺️ Sulky has an new out of town customer!???? Ask about the shop’s hair growth oil ! Bought my bottle at my 1st appointment for my Graduation.
Found this salon on Google and came simply because of the reviews. I was pleasantly welcomed upon arrival and they started on my hair right away. The attention to detail from Sulky and Lourdes was unparalleled! My hair was soft, shiny, manageable and beautiful! They heard my concerns and delivered! They truly do care about your hair and you as a person rather than selling you products to make a quick buck. I never had to use the flat iron after leaving the salon since my hair stayed straight with no chemicals, and this means a lot for a girl with 3b/3c curly dry hair! So I'm back here again and experience is still the same! Consistency is key!
Sulky was patient with my hair and did a thorough and professional job. My hair needed a lot of TLC, when I walked in. Now, I love the way my hair looks and I look forward to coming back in two weeks ????
It was amazing, not only their customer service was awesome but their knowledge of products and you can see they love what they do, we were treated like family and we will deff be coming back and bringing the rest of our family to see Sulky aswell. Below you can see the before and after.
I have been very blessed to have found this hair salon, I having been going for the past 2 years or so. I used to pay $90-100 for a blow dry as my hair is very long and thick, however at Sulky's not only have I received top notch customer service and excellent hair care, they will have a forever client! Mrs. Sulky is one of the most knowledgeable hair dressers I have ever met, she genuinely cares for her clients, teaches clients how to properly care for their hair, what to do and what not to do! Lourdes does my hair and she leaves me feeling like a precious gem. I take my daughter as well. I highly recommend Sulky's Salon. Thank you Lourdes, Eli and Mrs. Sulky for all that you do. May this establishment always be blessed for blessing others and so many of us through their impeccable work and ethics!
Best Dominican Salon Ever I’ve been with Sulky for over 5 years now and she’s definitely the best of the best. I recommend this spot.She is closed on Saturdays however opens On Sundays you can’t beat that,Definitely give her a try you won’t be upset ♥️
Unprofessional and very rude. She does great hair but after her continuing to treat me horribly I have had enough. This lady will tell you that you have an appointment at 9am and will come at 11am. So today before I came for my appointment I called her to make sure she would be there at 9 and so I got there at 9:06 and she didn’t come until 9:30 yet she was RUDE to me!!! Saying that even when she isn’t here I should still come at 8:45 and wait for her to come. And she refused to do my hair even though I was there before SHE got there. She is not a great person. I have given her so many chances because she will apologize but not anymore. You will no longer treat me this way.
