When I say this is a small pub I really mean SMALL. If you have never been in go. They sell a great pint & the staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is just nice and relaxed. Can get very busy but it is a great place for a drink.
Great little bar overall. Good music, sports and very friendly locals(most of who don't bite!) Had many good days and evenings here over the years with many more to come. Oh and the staff aren't too shabby either ????
Worst bar I've ever been to. I applied for a job there in person, and went there with my friends my same night. As I was standing at the bar waiting to be served, the manager grabs me and tells me I have to leave. Obviously I'm a bit confused at this point and I ask him why, and he just says "I don't have to give you a reason, I don't want you in my bar". I've never been to this bar in my life, I had my ID and wasn't causing trouble. When I asked to speak to the manager again, the bartender told security and dragged me out of the bar. I was calm, wasn't swearing and was polite. The only reason I was given was, and I quote, "I don't want people like you in my bar". I was wearing smart clothes, and for the bar staff to call security on me for literally no reason still confuses me today. He was probably just angry because he had no hair. Poor man.
