Bad quality sausages do my head in. The sausage, egg and tom I ordered was huge granted but the quality was poor. Tomotoes wasn't drained so the good quality breadcake was soggy and not very nice at all. Egg was cooked well so bonus there. I also didn't receive a spoon with my tea and couldn't stir sugar into it.
Called today for a take out coffee (latte) it was £2.20
They were just getting ready to close at 2.30pm. There were four other people eating / drinking and chatting inside. The staff were cleaning and mopping the floor. I didn't realise they closed that early....it does say 3pm on the door. The coffee was lovely and hot. Staff were friendly and told me they only open till three on one day a week.
Very clean and tidy place, staff very friendly and polite, the food was delicious
Excellent food at excellent prices, quick with quality and friendly service. Something for everyone and evey budget. Highly recommend ????

I absolutely love this cafe!! I'm disabled and I find it very difficult to leave my home. But I phone Station Cafe and they always take my order and drop it off at my home for me! There isn't many or if any that do great home cooked freshly cooked food like Station Cafe!!! Thank you x The staff are wonderful and the food is amazing!! So reasonably priced too!!
Never had a bad meal and I order my breakfast and something for my tea!
Fantastic!! Thank you so much to everyone who works there xxx
Very nice place been going there for years nice place nice food good people ????
Ordered a large sausage and tomato sandwich from work and when I opened the foil up the sandwich basically collapsed ! whoever had made the sandwich had put the tomato on the bottom of the breadcaked UNDER the sausage so all the bottom part of the sandwich just went mushy and fell apart . Couldn't even hold it so had to pick through it with my fingers ! had the same sandwich before with the tomato ON TOP of the sausage and had no problems . Shame really as the Sausage is tasty ! Oh well , I'll give it one more go and if it's the same next time I'll go elsewhere . ????
Edit ...
Thanks for the offer of a free sandwich next time but no need as it's our boss that buys them for us all at k & n every now and again ????.

One recurring complaint is the poor quality of sausages. One customer mentions that they do not enjoy the quality of sausages in their sausage, egg, and tomato dish. This highlights a weakness in the quality of the ingredients used in the cafe's dishes. Another customer faced a similar issue with a large sausage and tomato sandwich, where the sandwich collapsed due to the poor placement of the tomato beneath the sausage. This displays a lack of attention to detail in food preparation.
On the other hand, some customers have praised the food at the Station Cafe. The majority of customers who commented on the food had positive experiences, mentioning that the food was delicious and the cafe offers something for everyone. Additionally, one customer appreciates the Sunday lunches available for order, including through Just Eat. The cafe's pricing also receives positive feedback. Customers mention that the food is excellent and reasonably priced, making it accessible to a range of budgets. This is a strength in terms of the cafe's affordability.
One customer notes that the cafe closes early, despite stating different opening hours on the door. This inconsistency in operating hours could be seen as a weakness, as it may inconvenience some customers.
In conclusion, the Station Cafe in Chapeltown has both strengths and weaknesses. The cafe's menu offers a variety of options at affordable prices, and the majority of customers have had positive experiences with the food. The friendly and helpful staff, as well as the cleanliness of the cafe, are also strengths.
