Until recently this would have been 5 rating without a doubt, and food quality still deserves a 5. Problem is now after about 6pm there’s never any food ready, and nobody knows where to queue due to all the people waiting for their order. Last night for example they’d sold out of meat pies 2.5 hours before closing and couldn’t heat up another one. So in all great food and friendly service but why so little food?

Called in on a lunch time. Food was really greasy, so much so most of it went in the bin. Battered sausage oozed fat with every bit and chips were bland and limp.

Lady who served us was nice though, otherwise it would have been one star.

Authentic Yorkshire fishcake. The portion size is great! Nice balance of Batter, spud and fish. Takes me back to When I lived in Yorkshire. Tasty! The fish and chips here are lovely as well. Staff are Great! Polite and helpful. A good experience. Support local businesses folks. They need our support.

Excellent fish and chips from here .The cod is fresh and beautiful cooked in a crispy batter,good portion of nice chips.Owner and staff friendly and polite premises are spotless Great chip-shop highly recommended.Only downside the chip shop is in Worksop and we live in Retford but its well worth the travel,

It's clean and tidy, service is pretty fast/pleasant and the food is really good quality. It's not overly cheap at 1 portion of

Fish & chips, a fish cake, peas and a curry sauce costing around £12, however, the portion size more than makes up for it.

Very over priced. I always get cod and its so over cooked and dry, nothing like a juicy fish. Chips are so over done and soggy. Chef defo needs to up his game if they are charging prices like they are! Highest priced chippy in worksop! Times are hard for all of us, so if we pay your prices then we need the food quality to match the expense ????

Bit pricey compared with the other chip shops in Worksop and not the best. Lowered my star rating due to attitude of response.
