Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Gutes, frisches Essen für einen fairen Preis.
It’s no exaggeration that this cozy unassuming restaurant is a real godsend where you can get excellent Chinese food here in the city centre, mainly stir-fried dishes but also some real good noodles and soy milk. Is there anything the talented chef cannot do? Their servings are generous, really amazing value for money. Hidden gem serving heartwarming delights.
While it might not look much from the outside, this place is a bit special! They make their own tofu and fresh noodles on site daily- you'll never have fresher!
The café is clean, the food is excellent value, and they have a designated vegetarian section to the menu. Vegans can be catered to (not sure if the noodles are vegan). Pictured is vegetarian ma po tofu with fresh noodles, which came to £5 total - deliciously chewy and fresh! The lady who runs the shop is friendly and helpful.
Excellent authentic Chinese food. Definitely recommended. Don’t get fooled by the name, this ranks among the best restaurants for Chinese food outside of China!
Just came here but already loving how clean it is and prices are super affordable. We just got fresh soy milk which is amazing and the right level of sweetness ????. Will update when food comes out.
Edit: Food came out and as expected it was delicious!! It didn't taste heavy at all. We got the 2 mains lunch deal with sweet and sour chicken & chicken and chilli with fried rice, and pork and prawn dumpling noodle soup. So incredible fresh and tasty. I need to move to Sheffield ????????????
Really incredible value! The cleanliness is sublime, food is top notch and great value. I was really surprised by the quality of the pork and prawn dumplings and the freshly made soya milk. The only downside is that I live in London but will definitely visit this place again when I’m next in Sheffield. Highly recommended!
Excellent value for money, simple no frills food.
A good range of dishes on offer covering the popular restaurant dishes along with some "highlights from childhood" dishes.
Highly recommended would be the egg and tomato noodles along with the tea stained eggs.
Note that the menu isn't entirely bilingual although the staff are helpful on this.
On street Parking is available just outside the restaurant itself.
No frills/cash only/excellent!... Really great selection of interesting dishes at great price... I had home made pork and veg dumplings for £6.50.... Can't wait to go back and sample more!...

Quick Facts About Soya Express

Soya Express is a restaurant that offers good quality Chinese food at an affordable price. One of its main strengths is the freshness of the food. Customers have commented on the fact that the restaurant makes its own tofu and fresh noodles on site daily, ensuring that the dishes are as fresh as possible. This attention to detail and commitment to using fresh ingredients is highly appreciated by customers.
Another strength of Soya Express is the value for money it offers. Many customers have mentioned that the servings are generous and that they feel they are getting great value for the price they pay. This is particularly important as the restaurant is described as a hidden gem, indicating that it may not be as well-known as other Chinese restaurants in the area. However, the quality and portion sizes make it a great option for those looking for good food at an affordable price.
The cleanliness of the restaurant is also highlighted as a strength. Several customers have commented on how clean the restaurant is, which contributes to the overall positive experience of dining there. This attention to cleanliness helps to create a pleasant atmosphere for customers and shows that the restaurant takes pride in maintaining a high standard of hygiene.
The restaurant also caters to different dietary requirements. Customers have mentioned that there is a designated vegetarian section on the menu, and vegans can also be catered to. This is an important strength as it shows that Soya Express is inclusive and able to accommodate a range of dietary preferences. The fact that the staff are friendly and helpful when it comes to understanding the menu is also appreciated by customers.
The authenticity of the Chinese food at Soya Express is also praised. Customers have described the food as authentic and have recommended the restaurant as one of the best for Chinese food outside of China. This is a significant strength, as it indicates that the chefs at Soya Express are skilled in creating traditional Chinese dishes that taste true to their origins.
However, there are a few weaknesses that have been mentioned in the comments. One weakness is that the menu is not entirely bilingual. While the staff are helpful in explaining the dishes, it may be a hindrance to those who are not familiar with Chinese cuisine and may not understand some of the descriptions on the menu. This could potentially be improved by providing translations or descriptions in English for certain dishes.
Another weakness is that the restaurant only accepts cash payments. In today's digital age, where most people prefer to use card or mobile payments, this may be seen as inconvenient for some customers. It could be beneficial for the restaurant to consider accepting alternative forms of payment to cater to a wider range of customers.
Overall, Soya Express has several strengths that make it a popular choice for customers. The freshness of the food, the generous portions, and the affordable prices all contribute to its positive reputation. The cleanliness of the restaurant and the accommodating staff also enhance the dining experience. Despite a few weaknesses, such as the limited bilingual menu and cash-only payments, Soya Express remains highly recommended for those looking for authentic and affordable Chinese food.
