Solar Nails moved awhile ago and today was my first visit to their new location, a few doors down from their old one. It looks great, so many more seats, clean, friendly, professional. Emma did my pedicure and manicure and was meticulous. Prices went up a little since pre-pandemic, but less than other places I have gone to.
Excellent work! They accept walk ins and we're super friendly. The woman who did my nails was very skilled and my nails turned out beautiful ❤️ thank you!
I was recommended by a friend to go here and see Tyra, it was an absolutely amazing environment when i first walked in and my nails look amazing. i’ve had issues in the past with other places making my nails very thick and she was very thorough with making sure my nail shape looked good. I had a simple design but it turned out beautifully and i love it! I absolutely will be coming back in two weeks with new ideas!
It's good quality nails but their pricing is ridiculous. First time I went I got long nails with a black French tip design for 57$!!!! Second time I go I literally get the same exact thing just a different color and shorter and they charged me 65.... never ever everrrrrr going there again like ew. (First pic is the 65$ ones, and the second pic is the 57$ ones........)
shaping could be just a little bit better, i had to fix a couple nails once i got home but overall amazing. they always come through with my nails!
Tyra was quick and efficient. Very gentle taking off old nails, which is always most dreadful moment; Tyra made it painless. Perfectionist. She took her time and repeatedly clarified my vision for my nails. This is now my go to shop for nail art.
The staff is always so friendly! I really enjoy when Ethan does my nails, but he wasn’t available, so Bin did them and he took his time and he was so friendly. I don’t mind going to either nail tech. They are both great.

Usually have a good experience here compared to other salons in the area. I went in for a dip manicure and ended up leaving after my old dip was taken off and my nails were filed & buffed. My nails are crooked and some aren’t even the same shape. I wasn’t willing to sit through it any longer.
There is still old dip powder on my nails, too. So the new powder would have been put on top which causes lifting.
Solar up charges for everything, which I’ve paid in the past. Expect extra charges for using a credit card, tipping your tech, the shape of your nail, and length of your nail. This time they were going to charge me $10 for the color that I picked - crazy.
Sad to say that I won’t be back.
