I came into the salon so hopeless. I had just taken out my braids and my hair was very matted and tangled, and I had honestly just given up. Nicola took such great care of me. She was so thorough, shampooing my hair 4 times to get all the product out of it, walking me through exactly what she was doing and making sure I was comfortable. She gave me a trim and pressed my hair, it is now so healthy and beautiful. Only been here twice, and had a great salon experience both times. I did not have to wait hours after my appt to get in the chair like I have had to in the past. 10/10, I will be back!
I brought my 8 year old son in to get twists for the first time. Brandy did a great job. She was was very kind to him and made him feel relaxed. And his hair looks great. All the H2 staff were very welcoming. Great salon.
This salon is very polished and presentable. The hair stylists are very knowledgeable and well mannered. In fact, all the way up until I got my receipt I was happy, thinking this would be my new hair salon i go to regularly, as my last stylist moved to South Carolina on a whim. Then I was handed a receipt of 220.00 for a sew in, a deep condition, and a trim. Had i known that would be the price, i would have never went. I was told up front over the phone before even scheduling an appointment that Weaveable Wednesday ensured that my sew in would only be 125.00, that's including the 50.00 deposit i made by phone in order to hold my appointment. Overall the salon is a nice place, but prepare to have your pockets slashed by untold prices.
I went a few months ago, I technically did not have an appt. until the last minute. I think I called a day ahead if not the same day. My stylist was Remi the first time, she was great! I am natural and I just wanted a wash and silk press. Unfortunately, the power went out on the block for approximately an hour! I was told it would be back on shortly but it definitely was out for a whole hour to the point where my hair was completely dry by the time the power came back on! The power cut out in the middle of her blow drying my hair. The staff did their best to accommodate the clients offering water & magazines. They also apologized for the inconvenience but that threw me off a bit. In light of the circumstances, you would think they might offer a lower price for those who chose to stay to have their hair done. Some clients left because of the wait. However, I would have liked for the cashier to acknowledge me as I was being checked out! I felt as though that was a bit rude because I even spoke to her and she didn't even pay attention at all! Overall, my natural hair did turn out great! Remi did a great job!
I am going back today and I'm set up with Candice, hope all goes well!!! wish me luck.
The environment of this place is awesome! My first time there I was shocked because I was seen right away, my stylist and other employees made me feel welcomed and comfortable and my Silk Press came out beautiful. Not to mention how relaxed I felt the whole time.. I felt like I had been going there for years already. Rescheduled again for two weeks! I love this place.
My color process burned my scalp, the woman that worked on me seemed inconsiderate. Speaking of chemistry she did not have knowledge about skin tones & which color would be best after I asked from her being the licensed stylist. Overall wish this experience were better. I wouldn't want to allow that to happen again due to the price I paid.
I went to this salon for the first time yesterday. Shawna installed crochet braids. She was professional, fast and pleasant. I was pleased with the fact that I did not have to wait long to get in her chair and I did not have to be in the salon all day to get a great hairstyle. I will definitely be back.
This by far was the worst experience of my Life. I have always had my natural hair which was long and full. I went to Cassandra which I heard was the best natural hair stylist in Cleveland. I showed her a picture of the style and trim I wanted. She shaved the sides of my head totally bald. She implied if you don't care for it come back and I can give you a weave. I had no hair at all you could see my scalp. She laughed with her friends during my service at this point I was very sorry and horrified at how my hair looked. If you cherish your hair please be careful.
