My mom and I have had our rounds with nail salons but this one is a staple. We keep coming back to the friendliness and cleanliness. The staff is always so sweet and always exceeds our expectations. Although it is very out of the way for us, we continue to make the drive because they always leave us with nothing less than perfection. Our nails last a long time with no chipping or lifting. Shout-out to Kelly for giving me the best set of nails I've ever had! Came in with 3 friends for an appointment and everyone left with great manis. Mine was by far the most complex and for a very special occasion, and Kelly did an expert job making sure each nails' length, shape, and thickness was perfect, despite sitting me down just an hour before closing. Easily the most compliments I've ever received on my nails! 3 weeks later and they're still going strong (though desperately need a fill). Will definitely be back!!
This will be my new nail spot!! I have been to quite a few nail salons in Salt Lake but Sky Nails was such great service and fairly priced! I called ahead and they were able to make me an appointment within 10 mins. I showed the tech a reference picture and she replicated it perfectly!! She took her time and I didn’t feel rushed at all like I normally feel at other salons. I will definitely be returning here :)
Every time I have visited Sky Nails, I've left happy with the services they've provided. Today, they went above and beyond to try to help my dip powder not chip in my upcoming move. I will miss this place and I will always recommend their excellent service. Thanks to them for all of the help throughout the years!
So disappointing. I was a loyal customer here for nearly two years, always loved the staff and service. However, recently, the owner's customer service has gone downhill. The last two times I've gone in, the owner has been extremely condescending and rude, which is a complete 180 from how he used to be (kind and professional). Recently, the owner was so rude when I showed up for my appointment (which I made over the phone with him), that I turned around and walked out. This family-run business is not going to survive if the owner continues to treat clients with such disrespect. He just lost a long-time customer. Huge bummer.
Right before I was proposed to I went to Sky and got my nails done and I am thrilled that I did it. They turned out great and so did the pictures of my new engagement ring on them! Sky is AMAZING at time management if you have an appointment. They won’t make you sit there forever and If you have a tight timeframe they will do whatever they can to get you out to make your other appointments. I like getting dip nails by the male who works there.
This was my first time at Sky Nails. I am so happy with my experience. I was a walk in, I got a pedi with shellac and an acrylic fill with shellac and nail art. I came in with a Pinterest picture (of course) and Kate did an amazing job! I’m not the best with pictures but I wanted this poison apple nail art so bad! Every one took their time and I didn’t feel rushed. That said, I went on Thursday at like noon so I can’t speak for their busier times. I definitely recommend this nail salon!
They got us in past minutes so that was great. Really friendly and great selection on different tips. The one thing is I have had nails done for a while and they have never hurt like they did this time. He burnt me with electric nail file a few times to where 2 of my nails still hurt. They charged me for gel nail Polish but I got regular nail Polish to where it is already chipping and they did not do a great job at that. They did however stay past closing to finish my nails.
