Did not comply with my request. My hair was being done when the hairstylist suggested that I texturize it (I was growing my hair out naturally at the time). I had no idea what that meant, but I said okay after she had initially said she could do it. I didn't realize what was happening to my hair until I turned to look in the mirror with my back to it and saw that it had been relaxed. I then told her that this wasn't what I had requested. In the end, my hair is worse off than it was. (I only wanted a finger-wave because they showed pictures of past customers.) A waste of money.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE THEY DO NOT CARE FOR YOUR HAIR ..MY HAIRSTYLE WAS RUSHED IF YOU ARE NOT A REGULAR CLIENT YOU WILL GET POOR SERVICE. I WASTED MY TIME AND MONEY AND HAD TO TAKE THE STYLE OUT HORRIBLE SERVICE..IT IS TIME TO SHUT YOUR BUSINESS DOWN LISA. EVEN YOUR DAUGHTER CAN NOT DO HAIR...
What a wonderful experience after surviving covid. I hadn’t had my hair done in months but I was so well tooken care of and I felt the love and support.
Maxine is amazing. She did such an amazing job on my hair. I already had a short cut and color. She touched up my relaxer and color, she also bumped it so I could wrap it easily before bed and I will definitely be coming back to her. Thanks so much Maxine.
They do not know how to do hair only thing they good for is fingerwaves anything else PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! Their all nice women but hair styling outside of finger waves they not good at I’m sorry but it’s time someone write an honest review!
I was dissatisfied, I have thin hair and she obviously knew that because she braided my hair but I wanted a sew in with a leave out and she didn’t leave out any hair around the perimeter of my head, only left out hair for the middle part but didn’t take out enough. I paid $130 and walked out with my tracks showing. Because I complained she gave me back $20 but I do not recommend going here for a sew in if you have thin hair
I loved this place the owner did my hair she was very informative and gave me plenty of options that I could do to my hair. Why I haven't been coming to this place before is beyond me. Very friendly environment. Got compliments on my hair that same night. A good black hair salon seems hard to find I will definitely be back.
They did my daughters hair a couple of years ago and it was really nice. We wanted to go back and get some braided styles, but were told they no longer do braids. Completely disappointed
