I’ve gotten my hair done here a couple of times all walk in appointments this year and here are my results I usually keep my hair in for 3 weeks up to a month and a half
Hello, I was referred to this location by a
co-worker and I have to say that I've had excellent service both times with Ms. Red. She is such a nice and patient person who explains things, which is rare these days. I just recently let my daughter for her Sweet 16 Birthday get her first sew-in and she also had an excellent experience with Ms. Tayshia. We will definitely use their services again and refer friends and family.
I was the 3rd one in the chair. I got there at 9am. I was out hour and 15 minutes top! A sweet young girl braided my hair down and a different one Red I think was her name did my sew in. Another stylist Tay parted my hair for the braider because i have thin hair and she checked behind her when she was done. My neighbor said they were good. I have no complaints. It's cash only which I never have but just got back from vacation so I had plenty. You pay the braider. I also gave her a tip. Then you pay the stylist I tipped her also. I would have spent well over $200 at my normal stylist so why not tip. Plus I needed an emergency hair do and they are conveniently located 6 minutes from me! It was a win today! They were all polite and friendly. I will return! Thanks Show Stoppers! $40 Weave Shop. Oh I got a bob which is $50 I think because more than likely you'll get a cut with it. Oh and I wasn't expecting a $200 looking hair do. This works for me for what I have to do this weekend. When I want a Versatile I'll go to my normal stylist.
I absolutely loved it! I love my hair and she finished braiding sewing and styling my hair in one hour! My braids are very tight and neat the hair was sewed perfectly! The price was very affordable and the quality and time Ms. Mel put into my hair I felt I was in heaven. My hair was laid to the Gawdssss! Thank you so much will be a returning client of Ms.Mel!!!!
I take my mother up there.RED messed her hair up and switched her hair. I looked around for a cosmetologist license know had one. I tried to reach out to the owner she is every unprofessional. Don’t waste your money. Got her look like Dora the Explorer
If I could give 0 stars it still wouldn’t be enough to describe how horribly this company is. I went to this shop at 8:57 AM, they opened at 9AM. I did not leave until 7PM and missed my baby shower!!! I had been coming in previous years since 2015 and never experienced service worst than this in my life ANYWHERE. I had to stand outside waiting for someone to come open the shop, nobody came until 9:30 something. Mind you it was already a line of us waiting. They only had 1 person doing everybody’s hair (braid down and styling) and she was new to the shop. Customers sitting with me were calling the owner of the shop, she kept saying she would send someone from one of the other shops. Hours had gone by, nobody was sent to help until almost 2pm. None of the workers showed up and word to the lady that opened the shop, this had happened the day before as well (WHICH IS VERY TELLING ABOUT THE BUSINESS). I was next in line and the lady that came to help brought her daughter with her claiming that she was a braider. I was next up, so I sat in the chair to be serviced. Her daughter did not do my braid down properly so I had them to stop because it was almost an hour into braiding and my hair still was not done, the mom had to redo my braids, and instead of servicing me she continued and serviced 2 customers AFTER me on the list after I made her aware that my baby shower was that day!! She was literally trying to train her daughter on how to braid down in my head (A PAYING CUSTOMER). After having to go behind her daughter’s work, she had me sit back down and wait. Everyone witnessed while I sat across from this lady explaining to people otp that I had not yet been serviced, was still sitting while she did people’s hair that came after me, and was CRYING on the phone. Yet, she did not think to stop or care to. I did not get my hair done until 6pm and left the shop at 7. It was not worth the time or money I paid. She didn’t even do my hair all the way through. I was not discounted for my inconvenience and she was very insensitive about the situation stating that my people would wait on me if they cared. Mind you my baby shower was AT A PARK… it’s only so many hours of daylight! At 2:30 when she had her kid playing in my hair, she should have done it instead. I would not recommend this shop to anyone after that experience. The owner did not come to step in, I missed one of the most important days of my life, and it was horrible. That’s not how you conduct business. I will be taking the hair down today because it was not worth my time or money.
My sewing hasn’t even been in for two weeks and already my braids underneath or unraveling… I asked her May she tighten it and she said can you let me finish then”.. when I got up my closure wasn’t even glued to my head I had to go back not even five minutes and ask her may she redo it then they overcharge me the prices on the board does not match the prices they tell you.. they are never on time like ever
